CHAPTER NINETEEN
After 5 years...
Tara's POV
"Mommy?" Andito ako sa sarili kong studio. Nagpipinta na naman ng artwork. I named it Little Joys.
"Hi, baby. Come."
"Mommy, tomorrow's my first day of school." He hugged my arm. He looked somehow sad and not excited about it.
"I'm afraid of bullies." Na-late ako sa pagpaenrol sa kanya sa school. It is 2 weeks late. Swimming class pa naman niya bukas and I can't attend him since I'll have a meeting with 3 clients.
"They won't do anything harm, baby. I'll be there." I said.
"Dash, it's already 9. Want me to sing you a lullaby?" His face lit up and smiled. And dragged pme into his room.
"Please stay all night. Pleeeeease." He begged.
"Ok. As long as you promise me to do good tomorrow. I'll treat you something."
"Woah? Really? What is it, mommy?" Jumping on his bed.
"You'll get it tomorrow, baby." He lay down and put some blanket on me. He'll be turning 5 next week. Being with him for 5 years is the greatest. Muntik ng tanggalin ng school ang scholarship ng malaman nilang buntis ako. But my sponsor supported me as long as makakaya ko at hindi nakakasama sa dinadala ko. I was so blessed then. Until now. He means the world to me and I can't ask anything but him.
