First nothing happened. Trinity just stood under, staring up, when she too disappeared. We looked around when she poofed in the middle of the dance floor with her eyes closed. We ran down the stairs as everyone backed away from her. A light appeared around her body and her white dress was now replaced with black sashes that covered her body, at least the important stuff, as well as hung off. Her hair was no longer dirty blonde but a solid blonde and now in two pigtails and the tiara was still in it. Her necklace was still on and she wore black shoes. When she opened her eyes they were a glowingred; just like when we first found out who she was and two fangs hung down. She lifted her arms up and then, she was off.
She was dancing. But this was just no ordinary dancing. No words could describe this. She moved like a ballerina but when she jumped it was like she was flying. When she spun her hair and sashes spun with her.
"Isn't she lovely?" Kenzie asked, smiling at my face. "Only purebloods can dance in the moonlight."
She moved all over the dance floor, and that is a lot of ground to cover. No music was playing but it was as if Trinity's dancing had a melody to itself. She did a high jump, sticking her legs straight out, and landed on her heels. Trinity looked right at me as she began doing a bunch of turns in place, kicking her leg out and bringing it back in.
"Almost done," And then Trinity stopped spinning, crossing her feet as she stood with her arms out. We all could tell she was finished and everyone clapped and cheered for her. She stayed where she was, and looked at me. I walked up to her and held out my hand. She smiled and grabbed it. "Can we go outside?" She asked.
I nodded and we headed out. We walked around the other courtyard when she stopped. "Is something wrong?"
"What did you think, of my form?"
I smiled. "It was unbelievable." And it was, I never seen anything like that, not even in movies.
"Did you love it?"
"Yes."
She turned to me. "Do you know what the full moon means to a pureblood vampire?" I shook my head. What was she getting at? Something felt wrong, like I should run. But I stayed still as Trinity wrapped her arms around my neck. "It's the night when a vampire and their mate get really close." Close? I began freaking out when she leaned up and kissed my cheek. "It's as if they become one."
One? She slid her lips down to my neck. My heart began to beat loudly and I could feel sweat roll off my forehead. What was she doing? "After all, mate, I have been waiting for four years for a taste." Taste? She wouldn't, would she?
"Tri..Trinity."
"That's Queen Trinity to you." She growled against my neck. I tried to push her away but my arms could not move. I was somehow frozen. I could do nothing as her grip tightened around my neck and I felt her teeth graze my neck. "Queen Trinity, stop."
She was not listening. "You are my mate, let me taste." And then in one swift moment, she sank her teeth in me.
It hurt at first but then it turned into a numb feeling. She's taking my blood. Coming to my senses I grabbed her shoulders and shook her. "Trinity stop, Trinity." She did not listen but moved her hands and wrapped them around my stomach, holding me to her. I began feeling light-headed. Anymore and she was going to suck my dry.
"Hit the mark," Someone shouted and then Trinity was pulled away from me, landing on the other side of the courtyard as Ever was in between us. "I knew I should have never let you leave alone. I have heard the stories of vampires killing their mates on thenight of the full moon." What? Kill? Ever turned to me. "Don't you see why you have to be with me Dante. She is too dangerous to be with."
