9 years later..
Kari's POV
9 years. It's been 9 years since I lost the love of my life. Rayan Lopez also known as Ray Ray from Mindless Behavior. I still cry to this day. I just couldn't believe I lost him so sudden. Everything was all good until then. The funeral was the worst. Now the twins are 10 years old and I also was pregnant when Ray died. So now, I have two boys and a girl, Nathan, Jadah, and Rayan Jr. The sad thing is that they're growing up without their biological father.
"Hey baby. You feeling alright?" A husky voice said behind me. I turned around and saw my 5 year boyfriend of 5 years. 2 years after Ray's death, I went to University of Southern California and graduated 4 years later. During that time, I met up with an old friend and now we're together. He knows my life story and I know his. He was there to comfort me and he raised the twins as if they were his own children.
"Yeah.. I'm fine. Just finishing up this story." I said, typing away on the computer. I was currently writing a story on my adventure from that first meet and greet up until now. I finished typing the last paragraph and submitted it. I sighed and closed my laptop and turned to face my boyfriend, Craig Crippen. Yeah, Prodigy from Mindless Behavior.
Crazy? I know but I love him. Not as much as I loved and still love Rayan but I love Craig.
"Mooooommy Nate keeps messing with me." Jadah screamed, running into our room with her curly long hair all over the place.
"J. What have I told you?" I asked her, sitting her in my lap.
"To stop letting him mess with me." She whispered, playing with her finger. She's just like her father. The face, the hair, the personality, and the tendencies he had.
"That's right." I said, kissing her forehead.
"I love you mommy and daddy." She said, hugging us both around the neck.
"Love you too baby girl." I sighed.
I wish Rayan was here to see his children grow up and how much they were like each of us. I just missed him.
But there comes a time in life where you just gotta move on.
