*Jace's House*
*Mia's POV*
To be honest I lost track of time. It was easy to loose track of time when you were kissing someone.
10AM TUE
My phone exploded into a thousand texts and calls.
Mum
Dad.
Mum
Mum
Case
Case
Ash
Ash
Ash.
Cam
Cam
I groaned and rolled over, forgetting of course I was on a couch and landed with a thump onto Jace who was lying on the ground.
"Ugghhhh." He moaned, twisting so I fell off him.
"Jace. We have to go, it's 10, I've already missed a third of school." I said jumping up and calling Mum.
"Mum?"
"OH MY GOODNESS, MIA. HONEY WHERE ARE YOU, WE'RE SO WORRIED."
I rubbed my hand over my eyes. "I'm fine, I'm at Jace's."
"We don't see you all afternoon, you don't come home and don't reply to any of our texts or calls and your at your boyfriend's house. Care to explain young lady?"
"Uhhh...I feel asleep."
Great job Mia. A+.
"Is that right. If you're not home in half an hour you will wish you never even met Jason."
And she hung up.
I bit down on my lip and walked off to grab my bag.
"Mi?"
Jace pulled himself off the ground and followed me into the kitchen.
"Mia. What's going on."
I sighed and turned back to him, "I got busted. I need to go home."
"I'll take you." He said grabbing some car keys from the bench.
"Look Jace, you're my first proper boyfriend, my family will crush you into tiny pieces. Please just let me go. I'll call you. I promise."
I stand on my tiptoes and kiss him on the cheek.
"Thats sweet, Mi. But I do Karate remember?"
I rolled my eyes.
"I'm not responsible for any broken bones." I said picking up my stuff and heading for the door.
*Carpark*
We walked across the huge space barefoot. Jace in a pair of track pants and a hoodie, me in my nike tights and a baggy t - shirt. We looked like a pair of bogans.
Jace opened the boot of his volvo and I tossed my stuff inside before sliding into the passenger seat.
We listened to Kanye West on the way over to my house in silence.
When we pulled up to the curb, Case and Ash were waiting for us in matching ice hockey jerseys.
Jace licked his lips nervously and jogged around to my side so he could open my door.
I hopped out and stumbled on the gutter. Case and Ash, thinking this was because I was hurt, began power walking to the car.
Ash grabbed my arm roughly and pulled me away from Jace and Case grabbed all my stuff.
