*Mia's House - Mia's POV*
*Weekend after the apartment incident*
Cam had just left. Let's just say that she hadn't really held back on telling me off.
My parents hadn't directly told me to stay home, but I knew that people were going to start asking questions.
James tried slapping sense into me and left me with a red mark on my face which decided to hang around for 2 days.
Ash had left a purple bruise on my arm from pushing me around.
Being a little sister, injuries were certainly not foreign to me, but stories spread like wildfire and who knows what ridiculous stories teenagers could come up with.
So I stayed inside. I felt like a prisoner.
My room my cell, my brothers the guards, not allowed to see certain people.
Jace hadn't called me. I did't really blame him, my family could be scary.
It was Saturday morning and my bed seemed far to warm to leave. I had just sat staring at the wall while Cam yelled at me. She seemed a little put off by my silence so she gave me a quick hug before she left and said, "You know I'm only saying this cause I care about you."
The door opened and I turned over to avoid who ever was standing there.
"Mi?"
James.
Oh God please no.
"Go away." I murmured, burying my face in my pillow.
"Mia, get up we need to get going." He said. I pictured him leaning up against the door way. The way he always did.
"Where are we going?" I asked, suddenly curious.
"Out. You need to be up and downstairs in 10 minutes or you will have to pay for your own breakfast."
And he left.
Dude, 16 years of life and I still didn't understand James.
I stumbled out of bed and into the bathroom. A bog monster stared at me from the mirror.
"Morning." I told myself, pulling my messy bun out.
James hadn't given me much time so I quickly got dressed *picture below*, applied some basic makeup, put on my black ankle boots and straightened my hair.
*Downstairs*
Mum leaned up against the bench, waiting for me.
"Hey." I said, tucking a piece of hair behind my ear.
"Your brothers want to apologise for the past couple of days." Mum said straightening up and picking up her handbag.
"Oh." was all I managed.
