"The Invisible Mouse Trap"

Eri went inside the Agency. He saw his former husband staring at his desk trying to figure out what to do. So does the rest. Sonoko, Heiji, Kazuha sat all together in the sofa. While in the opposite side Jodie, Eisuke, Haibara and Conan sat together. Haibara was lucky she was released today but it was supposed to be on Monday.

"What shall we do know?" Eisuke asked.

"I think it's better to scan the area before the given time" Eisuke suggested.

"I agree with Eisuke-kun" Sonoko said.

"Me too" Kazuha added.

Conan stayed silent while the others gave suggestions on how they would manage to get Ran safe and capture the culprits.

While Eri, She came out of the kitchen and handed out some water, and lunch, bento.

There was a spare chair that has small tires at the bottom. She sat and rolled beside His former husband.

"Anata, Everything would be fine" Eri comforted.

"I'm a bad husband" He said. "And a Bad father"

"De-dear, don't say that" She said.

"If I only went with them. This things wouldn't happen"

"You'll capture those culprits. And bring back Ran"

Kogoro looked up. "Y-you think so?"

"Of course" she said. "Eat. Kazuha said you didn't eat your breakfast"

Kogoro nod then began to munch.

While they we're eating in silence, someone knocked from the Agency's door.

Kazuha insisted to opened the door. Yusaku and Yukiko came in.

"How's the investigation?" Eri asked.

All of them looked up and waited for the answer.

"According to what I have Investigated, There's a Organization my son Shinichi--" Sonoko cut off Yuusaku's statement.

When Sonoko heard the name Shinichi she stood up. "Shinichi? Where is he? Ran's missing and he's not doing anything?!"

"Hey Suzuki-san" Heiji grabbed her wrist "I'm sure there's a good reason why he's not here" Heiji glanced at Conan. They made eye-to-eye talk, Conan said Thanks.

"Yet. Let Uncle Yuusaku finish" Heiji added.

Sonoko felt ashamed she sat down and said while looking down, "Gomen'nasai"

"It's okay. As I was saying, Shinichi is currently Investigating a case and we think it involves this kidnapping"

Kogoro swallowed his food and spoked, "Organization? What organization?"

"It's a big and dangerous. They kill without hesitant. Mercy doesn't exist in the members' dictionary" Eisuke was deadly serious. I can't hide it anymore. They deserve the truth. But this all I can say... For now... "If anyone finds out one if them is a spy, they will kill that person and anyone who's involve with them"

Everyone looked at him with amazed and at the same time, curious eyes.

"Why do you know a lot?" Kazuha asked.

"It's based on my research. This is my job. I know you can't may not believe it but I'm a CIA agent. I'm given a mission to track the organization down and bring back an agent who lost contact with us" Eisuke explained.

"CIA?" Sonoko asked

"Central Intelligence Agency" Eisuke explained "

"And?" Eri asked "who's this agent of yours?"

There was a very short silence. Because Eisuke is thinking a explanation. And based in Eisuke's appearance Yukiko deduced...

"He can't tell us. Because this organization is deadly dangerous. Anyone is involve with them, they will also be in danger And that's why we must keep this meeting a secret. We don't know but maybe the organization is listening and watching our every move"

Tension filled the room. They were all in silence worrying about the Organization's Invisible mouse trap. Their stomach rotated and lost the appetite to eat.

There's a chance that they don't know yet our identities. Conan deduced. But I don't understand why. If they don't know yet our Identities, why did they take Ran?

Haibara rushed in Conan's thoughts, "Hey Kudo-kun. Are you thinking about Ran?"

Conan came back frim his senses and asked, "Huh?"

"I mean, do you think they are using Ran-san as bait?" She whispered.

"Maybe. But there's a feeling inside my body that doesn't seem right"

"What feeling?" She asked

"I don't know" He replied

Before Haibara can ask another question, Kogoro asked loudly "I still don't get why Ran was taken. And this brats are involve. They're ordinary kids right?" Kogoro asked Yuusaku

"Uhmm" Haibara thought of a quick answer

"It's be-because...." Conan also said

"Because?" Kazuha, Sonoko, Eri and Kogoro asked at the same time.

"Because they are witnesses in the kidnapping" Jodie said.

"Yes! That's it" Conan smiled.

"kowaidesu (I'm scared)" Haibar grabbed Jodie's arm.

"It's okay" Jodie patted Haibara's hair.

Luckily they are convinced by Starling, Haibara and Conan's phrases and action.

"I'll go and buy tickets for the bullet train" Kogoro said. "We leave tomorrow Morning"

"I'll come" Yuusaku said.
