*Hattori Residences (Night)*

Conan was sitting alone outside before Haibara joined him.

"The mail?" Haibara asked.

Without looking at her, he didn't hesitate, Conan stated "I want to see you try to find me..... If you'll live"

Conan looked at Haibara. Her eyes widened at in the edge of crying.

"Hey, don't cry" Conan said.

"B-AAAKA! I'm not crying!" Haibara scowled

"Gomen"

"It's just," Haibara lost herself from the thought "Tomorrow, They will return Ran"

"Do you think they're using Ran as bait to lure us out?" Conan asked.

"Yeah. It's Gin we're talking about. He wouldn't turn into that, it's my fault" Haibara said.

Maybe a little Conan thought Doesn't matter! Shut up self!

"No,No. Don't blame yourself" Conan said.

"I can't stop thinking about my parents' death. I-I think he took it.......too personal"

"Personal? What do you mean?"

"Y-yeah. I think I can trust you with this information. Just.... Keep this secret to ourselves"

"Sure" He promised. Haibara glared at Conan like she doubt his promise.

But she continued, "Gin... Offered me marriage"

Conan stood up and screamed "M-MARRIAGE?!!"

Haibara flinched. "S-shut it! Someone might  hear us!"

Actually there was. Kazuha was about to fetch Haibara because she was too scared to sleep alone. She thought they were talking about someone. She didn't want to disturb or eavesdrop, she quickly hid behind the door. She was lucky her parents' agreed to let her sleep here at Hattori residence.

She was lost in her thoughts. They were still talking and the only word she heard from Conan and Haibara's conversation is:

"--Hattori-nīsan"

Heiji? Marriage? What are they talking about?? Kazuha asked herself.

She saw Haibara look into her direction. She quickly ran off.

"Hmm? What's wrong?" Conan asked as he look where Haibara was looking.

"I think  someone's watching us  at the door" She explained while walking towards the it.

She opened the door and her eyes widened. Conan walked towards her.

Haibara gestured Conan to hurry up "Mite, mite! Kazuha and Heiji are outside arguing"
