Andromeda wasn't having the best night. Upon arriving home, she received a phone call from her legal counselor. Apparently, her father's last will and testament was located, and she'd be receiving money deposited into her account that her aunt signed over for her.

It wasn't that she didn't appreciate it, or that she was offended by it... she just didn't want to think about that tonight, not after her nightmares had just started to fade.

The truth was, Andromeda constantly yearned for her father's companionship. When things were horrendous, at times when Andromeda genuinely feared her mother, her father was the only one able to console and convince her that things would turn out alright.

Clearly they weren't alright. Especially not anymore.

"Bonne Nuit, hunny bunny."

Somehow, he brought a smile to her face.

"Bonsoir, pretty kitty." She whispered, her heart feeling a bit lighter as Chat took a seat beside her in the grass. "How are you on this starry evening?"

"Better, now that I'm with you."

Andromeda was rather pleased with his forwardness, despite it making her heart skip. She wanted to say she felt the same, but they both knew it didn't need to be said.

"And you, Lune? How are you?"

Awful, she thought. Terrible. Pretty much in the worst state of mind, to the point where she felt like the only thing that could pull her out of it were his strong arms.

"I'm okay." She settles for a lie.

Chat can tell by the look on her face that her answer is far from the truth, but he decides it's better not to push it. Especially considering he really only wanted one answer from her tonight.

"My day's been a bit of a whirlwind, I'll admit," Chat looks down at the grass, plucking a few spare strands. "If things were like they used to, I'd run home to my mom and have her sing me lullabies until I fell asleep, but... I guess everyone needs to grow up sometime."

Andromeda got the smallest smile thinking about a tiny blonde boy in a cat mask getting lulled to sleep. She thought back to her younger days, when she was still just a child that didn't understand-- how her father would come to her room and stroke her hair while she cried, promising that things would be better in the morning.

"Or just learn to find comfort with someone else." Lune offers her bravest smile to Chat, who is caught up in that look for a moment, before choosing to lay down, resting his head on her lap. "Chat?" She asked, unsure what to do with the masked hero on his lap.

"This is me, learning." He responds. His hands were a bit shaky, he wasn't sure he had ever really been this close to a girl that wasn't Chloe. "Let's see who's better at lullabies."

Andromeda rolled her eyes before letting out a sigh, placing a hand on top of Chat's head to play with his hair like her own father used to do.

As her lips parted to let out a melodic sound, Adrien could feel his heart pounding in his chest louder than before. This was it. This was how he'd be sure.

"Shadows settle on the place, that you left.

Our minds are troubled by the emptiness.

Destroy the middle, it's a waste of time.

From the perfect start to the finish line."

If it was her, he thought, he preferred hearing her sing in such a light voice. It contrasted the voice he had heard belt out of Andromeda today, but it was heavy with emotion, and it made Chat's eyes close just to immerse himself in it. It was lovely enough to be Andromeda's voice, that much he was sure.
