~~Elena's POV~~

"Notch, I can't trust this case I've found." I said, marching up to him with a couple of files.

"What do you mean?" He asked as he swivelled around on his chair to face me. Shina and Ridge also walked over.

"I've found two babies; both have been born within the last couple of years. They hold powers that mortals can't contain. Sooner or later, they're going to hurt someone." I explained as I gave the files to Notch.

Notch flicked through the files as Shina asked, "And, how were these babies made?"

Ridge sniggered as I shot him a mature glare, before replying with, "Well, I'm not too sure. I think it was just a miscalculation in the rift, and the two children are complete accidents."

"It does seem like it." Notch added, with his eyes still on the pages. "What were their names again?"

"Um... The girl was Zoey. The boy had an Eldern Swedish name. Rythian, I believe." I remembered slowly.

"Eldern? Wow, it's been a while. You do realise that Eldern is not a word-"

"Dammit Notch!" Shina complained. "I think that it's cool for gods to make names up!"

"Jeez, okay, okay." He said. "Anyway, how will we work this out?"

"I think that it would be cool for them to have the bracelets we were saving." Ridge suggested.

"Well, how will we know that they're keeping good care of them?" Notch asked.

"I'll be with them!" Shina offered energetically. "Seriously, I could be, like, Zoey's life-long friend and it would be awesome."

"Are you sure?" I asked wearily.

"Of course! You don't know how long I've been waiting to get back to the mortal realm!" She smiled.

"Y'know, the more you talk about the mortal realm, the more I regret turning you into the Goddess of Creation..." Ridge tutted.

"Oh, come on! She's an awesome Goddess!" Notch defended.

Ridge mumbled 'Puppy Love' as he walked back to his desk. Shina angrily watched Ridge turn back to them and shot them a chirpy smirk.

"That guy is so annoying." She muttered.

"Yeah, but he did kinda promote you to 'Goddess'... You can't stay mad at him for long." I smirked.

"True, true. Anyway, so when will I be travelling back to the mortal realm?" She asked with a smile.

"Umm... As soon as possible, I guess. Notch, when will be a good time?" I smiled, as Notch gave me the documents.

"I repeat your words, Elena, as soon as possible. We need the bracelets - Where did you put them?" Notch asked, standing.

"They should be in the store cupboard. Or maybe they're in my drawer..." Ridge said from a short distance away.

"Ridge, make your mind up!" I shouted as I walked over to him. He checked his drawer and found four colourless bracelets.

"How many do you need?" He asked, handing them all to me.

"Three's fine. I don't know how long Shina will be down there, but she'll be fine with three." I gave one back to him, before walking over to Shina. "Okay, you need to explain to their parents what's going on. I don't want you to be popping into their lives, giving their kids bracelets and then fading into nothingness."

"Okay, okay, I understand human ways! I was a human once, after all." Shina smiled. "I'll go there, I'll tell them what the problems are, and then I'll turn myself into a baby or something. I'll find a way."

"Okay, just take care. You're my best mate." I smiled.

"Don't worry, I'm a Goddess! I'm surely good at everything, right?"

"Just because we hold almighty powers, doesn't mean every problem can be fixed. The world doesn't work like that." I tutored.

"Whatever. Just, gimme the files and I'll be off." She beamed. I handed her the files and the bracelets and she took them, before smiling and faded into a flash of white, and then into nothing.

~~Shina's POV~~

I ended up at co-ordinates which were very close to the first baby - Rythian. I looked around and used my compass to get to him. When I reached a house, I knocked on the doors and a nice looking woman greeted me.

"Um... Hi!" She smiled.

"Hey, have you had a child recently?" I asked, hoping that things wouldn't be too weird for her.

"Um... Yes, why?"

"Basically... You won't believe this, but your son holds very strange powers. Ender powers. I would like to aid him and give him a bracelet. This bracelet would be like any other in looks, but it sucks up his powers and keeps them away from him; away from harm. Are you on track?" I asked.

"I... Think so..." She stuttered. "So, my son is a mage?"

"Yes, in a nutshell. But, he will go mad with power if we don't give him this bracelet. If he questions it, never tell him what powers he holds. I'm afraid you'll be lying to him your whole life. I apologise." I sighed, before handing her one of the bracelets and walking off. She shouted behind me, but I ignored her and checked the next co-ordinates. It was, somehow, not too far away either.

I flew there, making sure that no one could see me, before drifting down and knocking on the door. A man opened it this time.

"Hi!" He beamed.

"Hi! I need to talk to you... About your daughter..." I smiled awkwardly.

"Oh, that's wonderful! Would you like to come in?" He asked, motioning for me to enter.

"Um... Sure!" I smiled to seem polite. We entered his lovely house and his wife gave me some coffee, before I sighed and said, "Your daughter is special."

"How do you mean?!" He asked in his cheery voice.

"She holds powers that no normal person does. This is the first case that we've seen." I explained, and gave him a second to digest it.

He broke the silence with an unexpected question: "Who's we?"

"We is me and three other gods. We make sure that nothing bad happens to the mortal world." I added, before continuing. "We found a calamity in the realm so I was dispatched to make sure everything was fine. You will need to give her this." I said, handing him the bracelet. "You give this to her as soon as possible, okay?"

"Okay. I will do whatever it takes to keep my daughter safe." The man vowed, placing the bracelet in his balled up fist and touching his heart with it. "You can count on me, almighty one."

"Oh, trust me, I'm not almighty. Anyway, I have to go. Good luck with Zoey. That's all I can say." I smiled, before standing and leaving quickly. I found another nearby house, with a couple in, and wrote a note before turning myself into a young infant on their doorstep. Strange, it seems, but the strange things were only just beginning.
