- The Warrior Cat universe goes to all the Erin Hunters
- Songs from various artists are used to capture the theme or atmosphere of a chapter. Some lyrics may have been edited to reflect certain characters or events that occur
- Fallen Leaves is not about the cat who lived in the tunnels, but a motif for the fanfiction
