"Marinette!" Tom called from downstairs. Marinette was in her room, practicing her sewing and stitching skills. She put the things down. "Yes, Papa?!" She called back.

"Your mother and I would like to talk to you!" Time called again. Marinette became nervous.

'What if it's about her grades?'

'What if it's about her attendance?'

'What if it's... It's... ABOUT ADRIEN?!'

Whichever it was, it made her nervous. She slowly stood up from her chair and walked down. She walked into their living room and saw her parents sitting on the couch together and smiling at her. Tom gestured her to take a seat in front of them.

She hesitated a bit but sat anyways. She fiddled with her fingers and waited for her parents to begin.

"Well, Marinette. We have some news for you," Tom began. He squeezed his wife's hand a little. "You see, Honey. I'm expecting." Sabine finished.

"Wha?" Was all Marinette could say. She wasn't sure what they meant. Tom chuckled. "You mother is pregnant."

Marinette's eyes grew like saucers. She let her jaws drop. 'I will be a big sister. A big sister! Wait, do I have siblings?' She thought. Her parents read her expression which had confusion all over. "No, you don't have siblings." Sabine said.

Marinette looked up and smiled. "I'm so happy, mom! How far along?" She tilted her head.

Sabine giggled and pat her little bump. "9 weeks." She answered. "We were going to tell you but the accident happened and.." Sabine frowned at the memory. They had set a perfect dinner for three that night. They waited for Marinette to came home but instead, they received a phone call informing them that she was in the hospital and was rushed into the emergency.

Sabine was snapped back to reality and she was embraced into a huge hug by her only two family. She didn't notice the tears streaming down her face. They pulled away and Marinette handed her a tissue.

"It's okay, mom. I'm still alive. Isn't that what's really important?" Marinette giggled and hugged her mom again. "Oh, the positive thinker is back, eh?"

"Oh, hush, Papa." Marinette giggled and pulled Tom into the hug again. They stayed that way til' eventually, Marinette fell asleep.

Tom carried her bridal style and took her to her room with Sabine following behind. Tom gentle put Marinette in her bed making sure not to wake her. She grunted as she felt the soft surface of the bed than moaned a little.

Sabine kissed her forehead and walked out, turning off the light and slowly shutting the door.
