 "Hah, I fucking KNEW it!"
Your lips quickly jump off the others as your body pushed yourself away from the other. As you look, there he is, Karkat. And he's pointing at you guys with a grin. The ginger probably felt so proud of himself. 
"Karkat!" John sputtered out in embarrassment as his hands retracted from your chest. You pull down your shades onto your nose and looked over at him.
"Dude what are you doing here?"
"I fucking knew you guys had something! You guys were so ignorant for each other's feelings, and it takes you months to figure out? Holy shit! And I thought here that when you guys go off to college that you'll lose everything about you two!"
He didn't answer your question, just kept rambling on. John groaned as his cheeks rose in color. 
"Karkat, shut up, you're gonna cause a scene..!"
"A scene! God John, you're so PDA about your relationships. This has to be a fucking celebration. I can see it in the school's newspaper; 'JOHN AND DAVE FINALLY FUCKING KISS, S'BEEN MONTHS AND AFTER DAVE DUMPED THE HOE, HE'S SMOOCHING EGBERT IN THE HALLWAY AT PROM.'" You groan aswell with John and rub the bridge of your nose with your thumb and pointer finger, closing your eyes for a second. "Dude, just leave please." Luckily this gate keeps you away from you kicking his ass. 
"Oh I don't want to interrupt your guy's make out party over here, let me just waddle back to the gym and tell everyone!" 
Now you can tell this makes John upset. He hates telling anyone he's dating. He only tells you and the quad gang (Jade and Rose). He hates anything that causes attention between him and anyone else he's dating. "Please don't!" 
"Why should I?"
"He doesn't want to cause attention between us, just leave and go with Jade." You respond for him, walking over to the gate and ducking through the bars. 
"Karkat what's going on?" A female voice quietly said around the corner. "Dave, there you are!" And it was Jade. Great. 
"Jade! You have no idea what I just found out." He said sarcastically at her. 
Jade stepped up with her tiny heels and her black shiny multi chrome dress. It looked almost like a galaxy. "What did you find?" She looked over at you with a confused look. "Did you find Dave?" 
You gave the ginger a hard stare, just begging him not to say anything. 
"Jade, let me tell you.." he looked over at you, his eyebrows raising up slightly and grunting. "Yes, I found Dave, he was trapped over here behind the gate. What a fool!" 
You grin slightly and nodded. "There was money over here how can I not resist." 
"He was stuck between the damn gate!"
Jade let out a chuckle and looked at you. "Well you're out now. Did you find John yet?" 
You were standing in front of John so she couldn't see. But you shrugged and kept your place. "Not yet, he's probably in the cafeteria somewhere, being a lonely nerd or something." 
Karkat nodded and grabbed Jade's hand. "Come on, people are waiting for us in the gym." 
Jade smiled at him. "Alright, see you later Dave!" And they both walked together to the gym. 

You sigh and looked behind the gate, and John stood there with his arms crossed. He was still a bit embarrassed but was glad about Karkat's response. You fit through the steel frame and stepped in front of him. "I think he's cool with your little PDA thing. Don't worry."
"Yeah I know." He shrugged and looked down. 
"Come on, Egbert," you unfold his arms and laced your fingers in his hands, "you're alright. We're alone now." 
He gazes his eyes at you and blinked. You take your hand, along with his, and push your shades passed your forehead and rest them on your bangs. He smiles slightly and lays his gaze on your face. 
God you just love him. You admit that your heart just skips a beat whenever you feel his warmth on you. 
You press your lips onto his pale forehead and keep your body close to his. John rests his head on your chest and leans against you. 

You truly do love him.
