"Si Yna na ba yan?! Grabe ganda talaga kahit tulog, tsong no?"

"Sobra! Parang sleeping beauty. Kaso nakakahiya lapitan. Mauutal ako. English pa!"

"Sleeping beauty? Edi para magising siya, kailangan na ng kiss? Nays juan! Jackpot!"

"Shhh. Get ready! Mag tago kayo sa gilid!"

I woke up almost hyperventilating from the current warmth temperature. As soon as I opened my right eye, I can't see anything but black. I closed my eye to sleep again but I heard some noise, so I looked towards the room.

"Dito tayo, Apex. Gumapang ka nalang."

"HALA! TULONG UDAZ! YUNG CAKE NAHULOG LOG LOG LOG!!!"

"SHHH!!! Apex! The sleepy debutante might hear you. Hihihi~"

"Hmmm." I'm still sleepy. It's too dark to wake up. Maybe those are my neighbors' voices.

"Aray! Nadadaganan mo na ako, naiipit na ko sa sitwasyon pare!"

"Maybe she's still lucid dreaming. Oh!!! She's moving!"

I stretched my arms widely and rubbed my eyes to feel awake as I draw myself closer to the window. Sobrang dilim kasi, halos wala na akong makita!

"Takte, nalingat lang ako saglit, nawala na sa kama si Yna!"

"Maybe she went to Paris France in her dreams, hihi~OMAYGAD!!! Wait, what?! Asan na?"

"Talaga Apex? Kapain mo nga, check mo baka umusog lang ng konti yon."

"Naka nang, breezy boy ka talaga Udaz!"

Nang buksan ko ang kurtina, bumungad sa akin ang nakakasilaw na araw. I can see clearly. And when I turned around to face my bed again...

"SURPRISE!!!"

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CYNNA!!!"

My eyes sparkled and dazzled by what I've seen. I looked around to see my beautiful room. Sobrang ganda ng decorations. Pero hindi nag tagal, napatingin ulit ako sa dalawang tao, pamilyar sa akin ang mga muka. Pareho silang may hawak na huge paper bags na birthday theme. Nagkatinginan silang dalawa at... "Oh my gosh! You're so pretty like us!" They ran simultaneously and hugged me tightly.

"Don't tell me girl, you don't remember us, na?" The two girls said in chorus. They almost have the similar faces but the girl wearing maroon dress looks so kikay than the one who wears the burgundy dress. Sobrang pamilyar talaga sa akin sila, gosh!

"Kewloda and Riana?" They both nodded and handed me their gifts. I knew it! They were my close friends during our childhood days. They went to Singapore to live there. I can't believe they're here for my birthday. This is really cool and unexpected.

"Thank you so much." I exclaimed with teary eyes. I'm sure this is happiness. Today is like a miracle, I missed experiencing this abstract noun that I've been longing for.

"We missed you! Ow! Wait~ where are they?" Kew asked, staring at Riana. Meron pa ba silang ibang kasama dito? Hindi kaya yung iba rin naming childhood friends before? Naalala ko tuloy sina Apex, Udaz at Dax. Girls vs Boys ang laban namin tuwing street games. Patintero, Agawan Base and etc.

Riana walked a few steps forward like she was seeking for something or even someone. Nakakapag taka lang kasi, sa may bandang bed ko siya naghahanap. Ano namang meron dun?
