Chapter 41

I literally jump from tree to tree until I'm back to the treehouse I sit down out of breath they all look at me fear in there eyes there in a trance they stare at me mouth gaping at that moment we get a parachute we all open it together its a combined message from our mentors it reads GET THEM OUT OF THERE BEFORE THEY TURN OFF THE VIDEO AND THE BLOODBATH STARTS!! ~ K,P,J,F,H we open the parachute it's got a pair of earmuffs we all know what to do I carefully put them on and swing from tree to tree on my way I find other things that will work find for earmuffs finally I reach the beach I jump down and run to thresh and willow finnick and grab them and shove the things I picked and shove them in there ears I see the panem symbol and I grab finnick and willow and we bolt back to the treehouse when we get there willow and finnick start crying we calm them down once there calm we ask them what they saw they explain it in horrid detail we then hear the horrid cry of the little helpless children I am so glad we got out of there when we did when it started getting late we all got into our bed rue curled up next to me and we then turn our attention to the sky we're we find the dead tributes both from three the girl from 5 the boy from 6 both from 8 & 9 and that's it 8 dead not bad we all curl up to sleep but I stay awake after being awake for roughly 3 hours I arm myself and go out for a walk I grab a bag that has the box from our parachute I get down from the treehouse and grab the watch its 11 nearly 12 I grab some wire that we found and I run quickly but quietly not wanting any unwanted visitors BANG I missed the lightning I run to the beach I look at the clock blood rain I run to the beach shove the wire in and find another tree and curl it up just as it starts to rain I bolt back and find someone hovering over rue knife about to drop over her heart I get up in a tree and shoot the person in the neck I run up to the tree house just before the knife hits her chest I sigh and hear the canon rue wakes up what what happened I point to the person killed and show her the knife she hugs me thank you the others start to rise just as the sun is rising they all look at the murderer and we finally get a proper look at her everyone hovers over her except finnick I sit next to him what's wrong she was my district partner I stare at him I'm so so sorry fin no no it's fine I look into his deep blue eyes and I put my head on his shoulder he smiles and hugs me to show he really is okay I hug him back he then says something to me listen I'm glad you killed her she went sico we both laugh together we both grin at each other everyone moves when we walk over and we push the girl off the treehouse automatically hearing the mockingjay alarm of sound and we watch her get taken away at that moment we hear the dreaded voice over the loud speaker
