Mitch's P.O.V.

"HUMAN!"

'NOTCH DAMN IT! RUUUUUN!' Was all I could think of. I don't even know where I'm running, I just need to get away from them.

"USE YOUR BOW AND ARROWS!" I heard one of them yell. I look back for a second and saw all of them had their bows prepared.

Everyone of them tried to shoot me, but they'll either miss, or land somewhere near me.

One of the arrows actually hit my left shoulder. "AAAHH!" I yelled in pain.

'WHAT THE NETHER?! Are these super arrows or something?! They're not suppose to be THIS strong!' I thought. It was true... Arrows aren't suppose to be strong... And they can't be enchanted... Maybe baccas are smarter than we think...

I tried to run faster, but I'm becoming tired... Very tired. And the pain on my left shoulder didn't help much...

Soon, I could see a village... It looked pretty close, so I ran up to it.

But as soon as I got in the village, everything went black.

Jerome's P.O.V.

~Ze next day~

As I woke up, I could hear my father talking with some other baccas downstairs.

I got up, and went to the door. I carefully listened to the conversation downstairs, it was pretty hard to listen though. Well, there's a door in the way... [A/N: GENIUS JEROME!]

"...Hu...Bla..Ed...Hoodie..." I heard father said. Was he talking about... MITCH?!

'Did he get caught? Shoot! I should've taken him home... Not just leave him in the middle of the forest!' I thought and facepalmed.

I groaned, and decided to go downstairs. Why? I'm hungry.

I walked past my father, and some of his business doods, and just walked to the kitchen. The whole time, I acted like I have never heard anything.

When I got to the food chest, I took some raw fish and walked to where father was sitting.

"Whatcha talkin' about?" I asked curiously. Father still looks a little angry cause of the 'events' that happened yesterday.

"We caught a human walking to our village." I froze.

"What's a human doing here?" I asked, slightly worried.

"Well, he was trying to escape some of our guards who were patrolling in the forest that night." My heart dropped.

"Wh... Where's the human right now..?" I asked curiously. "He's in the dungeon right now. Last time I checked he was still unconscious." He answered truthfully. I nodded and ran outside the house.

I didn't even care about eating breakfast anymore. I needed to get Mitch out of here so he doesn't get... Punished.

I gulped, and ran to the dungeon even faster. It took me awhile, but I finally got there.

As usual there are two baccas guarding the entrance to the dungeon. "Excuse me, sir, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at home with your father?" One of the guards ask me.

"I need to see the human. It's urgent." I answered. "But sir, you're not allowed to go here without your fa-" "I said, it's urgent." I repeated. He nodded, and moved out of the way while the other guard opened the gate.

I walked inside and took a deep breath.

YEP. I will never go back here EVER again.

Only for Mitch.
