Chapter 2 - Anniversary!

-10 years later-

Mitch's P.O.V.

It's been 10 years we both met... 10 years we became best friends... But, we had to keep our friendship a secret. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, can know. If somebody did know, one of us would've been dead by now.

And, throughout the 10 years... I started to fall in love with Jerome. Along time ago he was a naughty kid. Now he's just nice, funny, awesome, and all of that good stuff.

But, if being friends with a bacca is illegal... Imagine being together with a bacca... So I doubt me and Jerome will ever get together. If we did, it would be a miracle!

Anyways, today was the 10th year anniversary of our friendship. And today, I'm finally gonna confess. I have to. I can't keep this a secret forever... Cause, what if I never get the chance to tell him?

"Biggums? You here, dood!" I yelled, searching for Jerome by the pond. We always went to the pond whenever we wanted to meet. Cause if we actually went to each other's village, it'll be bye-bye world.

"Boo!" Jerome yelled from behind me. I screamed.

"Jerome! You scared me!" I yelled. He laughed. Soon, I started laughing too.

And finally, when we calmed down, he said, "So biggums! I got you something epic!" He said happily. I smiled.

He gave me a pretty big box, I opened it, and gasped. It was an enchanted diamond axe.

"B-biggums... It's beautiful... How did you get this?" I asked curiously. He smiled at me, I smiled back.

"Well... A few months ago, I went mining and found some diamonds... And I guess I just decided to make a diamond axe, and give it to you for our friendship anniversary." He said with a huge grin on his face. "Do... Do you like it?" He asked.

"Like it? No!" I started, he frowned. "I LOVE IT!" I yelled happily, and hugged him. He hugged back. "Thanks Jerome." I said, pulling away from the hug.

"Anything for you, dood." He said, and blushed. I blushed too. "So, what's your present?"

I froze. 'This would ruin the moment...' I thought, and sighed. 'You have to do this, Mitch! You can't keep it a secret forever!'

"Umm... J-Jerome... This is not really a present, but... It's more of a confession..." I said quietly. He froze.

Jerome's P.O.V.

"O-okay... Wh-what is it?" I asked. 'Could he like me too..?'

"Oh-uh... Jerome... I kinda um, have a crush on you and I-uh... Love you." He said quietly. I looked at him, shocked.

Then I realize, tears were streaming down his face. "I... I should go!" He yelled, and turned around to run. Before he could run, I grabbed his wrist. I turned him around, so he was facing me.

"Don't. Go."
