Mitch's P.O.V.
"Father..." Jerome muttered. SHIT!
My punishment?! Oh Notch, what's it about?! IS HE GONNA KILL ME?! JUST 'CAUSE I'M A HUMAN?! I thought worriedly.
"M-my punishment?" I asked quietly. Jerome nodded, and he ran away. "J-Jerome..?" I asked to no one in particular. I saw him running upstairs, then I could hear the footsteps coming closer.
"Hello there, human." Jerome's father said as he got closer to my cell. I took a step back. "Hmph, not as tough as the legends say." He chuckled. He took a diamond sword, and he pointed it at me. I took another step back, and he said, "Come on! Time for your punishment..."
I kept moving backwards until I hit the wall, and quietly asked, "M-my pu-punishment..?"
"Of course, idiot!" He yelled as he hit the cell bars with a sword.
I gasped and asked, "Wh-what are you going to do t-to m-me..?"
"Oh you know, the usual... I'm just gonna cut your head off..." He said, laughing evily. My eyes widen and I swear I was going to faint.
"W-Why..?" I asked quietly. I don't know why I'm so... Weak all of the sudden. I guess it's because he has a diamond sword and everything...
"Because your a HUMAN! And apparently a dumb one..." He answered chuckling.
I glare at him, and he glared back. I gasped. His eyes were full of hatred and anger.
He chuckled, and said, "Enough chit chat, let's get you ready for your punishment..."
He opened the iron door by... Pushing a button or something? I don't know, I couldn't really see it. It was pretty dark here...
Well, he opened the iron door somehow, walked up to me, and then everything went black.
Jerome's P.O.V.
Before father saw me, I ran back upstairs. I'm such a coward!
What happened to saving Mitch, Jerome?! I thought. I let out a frustrated sigh.
Once I reached the entrance of the dungeons, I saw many baccas, including the guards, walking to the middle of the village. What..? Why..?
"Excuse me, but why are all of you going to the middle of the village?" I asked a random bacca, he seemed pretty old, and excited.
"Your father didn't tell you?" He asked, I shook my head. "You're going to kill your first human!" He said enthusiastically, smiling brightly. I froze.
"My first human..? Who..?" I asked again, getting a bit worried.
"The one who ran to our village yesterday! You know, the one with the jacket thing!" He yelled, everybody around us cheered. I froze.
I'm gonna kill Mitch..?
"Why do you seem so tensed up? C'mon! Cheer up! It's gonna be fine!" He said, patting my back, and walking away.
I CAN'T KILL HUMANS! Let alone, MITCH!
"Notch damn it... What am I going to do..?" I muttered. Soon, I felt an arm around my shoulder. It was... Father...
"Come on son... We- I mean you, are going to punish this human. Whether you like it, or not." He said smiling, pretty much pushing me to the middle of the village. Once there, I saw a bunch of baccas, surrounding... An enchanted diamond axe... It looked like the one I gave to Mitch... Could it be..?
"Dad, where did you get the axe..?" I asked, trying to sound normal.
"Oh! The axe! We found it by the human when he passed out." He answered, smiling. "Excuse me, I need to get the human here." He stated, chuckling. I gulped, and watched as he left me.
~Time skip to when papa bac gets everything setup hurhur~
"We're ready son. Are you ready?" He asked, handing me the axe. Mitch is all chained up, and he's still unconscious.
I took the axe from father's hands. "C-can't we wa-wait until he wakes up..?" I asked, stuttering. I really need to find a way out of this. I mean, I can't kill Mitch! I... I still love him!
Father groaned, and answered, "Fine..." I smiled a little, at least I can talk to him first...
"HUMAN! WAKE UP!" Father yelled, hitting Mitch in the back of the head. Mitch's eyes immediately open, and he nearly fainted again when he saw baccas surrounding him. "Wh... Where am I?" He asked quietly.
"You're in the bacca village, human. And my son here, is going to kill you." My father answered, smiling. Mitch's eyes widen.
"J-Jerome..?" He said, looking at me. He... He started crying... It hurts seeing him cry. "M-Mitch... I'm sorry, I can't do anything about i-" "Bla bla bla... Stop all of this sad crap. Kill him." Father cut me off.
All the baccas started cheering, and Mitch started crying even harder. I looked at him, and he just nodded. I prepared my axe and muttered...
"I'm sorry..."
