We fell for what felt like ages. I tried flying up with my weather brain power, but I had only used it while falling from the tower, and still hadn't mastered using it. I flashed some lightning in my hand, which sort of lit up the big pit we were falling down. Everywhere I looked there was what looked like burnt rock, and I looked down to see a flat floor of rock.
*BONK* a sound echoed through the tunnels as we face planted on the rock.
"That actually hurt much less than I thought." Luke said.
I looked up, and the pit we fell down was only about a 15 feet drop.
"That's barely a drop." Hannah said, looking up.
"What, you think I'm letting my pawns die without doing anything with them?" a voice said.
Sabrina walked out from the darkness and looked over at me.
"Adam? Wow, I could've sworn you would've died. I'm impressed." she said.
"Shut it Sabrina" I said. "You've taken Hunter and the brain crystal, and we need it back."
"Ha! You really think after all my work and training I'm gonna hand over the brain crystal to you?" she said.
"Well, ya." Luke said. "Can't you help out a friend?"
"Pfft, good try." Sabrina said. "But it isn't that easy."
She raised her hand, and the ground lit on fire. My feet were burning, and I concentrated really hard, and a small cloud rained on the fire, turning the hot ground into a cold, soggy puddle.
"Pfft, good try." I said, mocking her. "But it isn't that easy."
"Oh, you want a challenge?" she asked.
"Bring it." I said.
She lunged at me, and a cloud formed around Luke, Hannah, and I. I focused, and we zoomed pass Sabrina, and down the pitch black tunnels.
Hannah pulled out a flashlight, and shinned it everywhere to see her surroundings.
"Ok." she said. "Sabrina and I made an escape route to the BP ball field. It's a tight space though, and we might crash into some walls."
"Ok," I started. "Just guide me where to go."
After about a minute of lefts, rights, ups, and down, I saw a rock, which had a lock on it.
"What's the combination?" I asked.
"It's a BP lock. I need to shrink inside it to open it." Hannah said.
"Well hurry!" Luke said.
She shrunk down, and jumped into the lock, and Sabrina was catching up.
"Hannah needs to hurry." I said impatiently.
She jumped out of the lock, and grew back to normal size.
"GO!!!" she yelled, and we flew out of the tunnels onto the BP ball field.
Sabrina flew out of the same exit with her whole body covered in flames, and her face full of rage.
"Say goodbye!" she yelled to us, looking right at me.
"I thought we were friends!" I yelled.
"Well not anymore!" she yelled.
I covered my head, ready to be burnt to ash, but then she turned back to normal, with a face of confusion. She stared at me, and I was extremely confused. Why didn't she kill me? Why am I alive? What's she thinking?
"FREEZE" the principal yelled, running up behind Sabrina, and putting some futuristic handcuffs on her.
"Your under BP arrest for the evil-doing of your brain power." he said.
I sat there, looking as Principal Intelle drag Sabrina away, wondering why she didn't kill me.
