The Trial [Part 17] (hahahaha I'm so ready for this)

Max's POV

The cell was so cold. I was alone and I wish Ross was here with me. What No you don't want to put Ross through this hell. He would probably start crying and I would need to comfort him. Besides he probably wouldn't last long in prison. I kept seeing me stabbing Steven. The memory replaying in my head over and over again. You know if I keep thinking about this I might actually go insane. I couldn't take it anymore so I got up out of that uncomfortable bed. I went to the door to my cell and looked through the tiny window. It was pitch black and there was no noise at all.  I went back to my bed and fell asleep. I guess the trial is tomorrow I wonder if Ross has recovered enough to testify in it. 

I fell asleep thinking of Ross and the warmth I would get from him when we would cuddle. Well Ross I hope you'll like your boyfriend as a murderer because that's what I've become. 

Ross' POV

The trial was today and I was completely ready for this. When I got the note at my door that I was to testify I read it, then ripped it in half. "I already know what's going to happen why wait for it" I said aloud. Tim walked up next to me and put a hand on my shoulder. "Ross I know you think you're ready but are you sure" Tim said "When you walk in there and see Max are you sure you can handle this." I looked at Tim. "Tim I know what I'm doing and if luck is on my side then Max will be back home by today" I said. That might not come true you know. This isn't some fairy tail or fan-fiction

(A/N What pfft no..... crap he knows) 

"Tim let's get Adam and head out" I said. Tim nodded and went to get his keys. We got in the car Tim driving and me in the passenger's seat. We drove to Adam's house and he and Alesa came out. "Ross are you ready to do this" Adam said. "Yeah let's go get Max out" I said. The drive to the court house was long and it was completely silent. No on said anything and the silence was getting to become really awkward. "So Adam are you and Alesa planning anything special this week" I said. We all needed a little bit of happy so I thought this was a good topic. 

When I looked behind me Adam and Alesa were holding hands and looking at each other. "Actually Ross we were planning something" Adam said. I was now seriously curious and wanted to know. "So what is this special event that's happening between you two" I said. Adam looked at me and smiled, but he turned back to Alesa. "Should we tell him Alesa" Adam said. Alesa smiled back at Adam and shook her head. "I don't think so Adam let's wait till after the trial they're gonna need some happy after this" Alesa said. I sighed and turned back around facing the road. 

We finally made it to the court house and I saw a news crew. Please don't come over here. Please don't come over here. Please Please Please don't come. Unfortunately the news crew saw us and was walking to us. I looked at Tim and he saw them to. "Tim what do we do" I said. "Honestly Ross just answer their questions and get it over with" Tim said. I nodded and remembered I needed to get to Max.  The news crew reached me and held a microphone up to my face.

"Sir are here to testify against your attacker Max" The news lady said. She thinks Max attacked me too. I guess Adam and Alesa didn't get a chance with the news either. Dammit those police must really hate Max or just incredibly stupid. "As much as I would love to answer you're question I really need to get to the trial I'm sorry" I turned away from the reporter. She looked a little upset. "Sir can I at least ask you one question" She said to me. "It's not for the camera it's just a personal question" She said. She waved the camera man away from us. I don't know why but I finally noticed to how old she was she looked like she was still in college. I don't why this caught my eye but I just noticed little things now and again.  

"Inside the court room is Max and you're Ross" She said. I didn't know where she was going with this. She turned to Adam, Alesa, and Tim. "You're Adam and Tim aren't you" She said. Adam looked a little surprised. "I may look like a reporter but honestly I'm just a college intern trying to find something she wants to do. My name is Renee and I watch your videos. It seems a little silly for a college student to watch minecraft videos but they really brighten my day"  She said. I looked at her and smiled at her I walked to her and gave her a hug.
