Ross' POV

Driving to the airport could not be more suspenseful. I continued to think about what the guy could be like. I wonder what kind of guy he's like? Adam didn't really give me a description of the guy. I wonder if I should call Adam about it?

"Nah I'll meet the guy myself I don't need to call Adam," I spoke aloud to myself alone in the car. He could be into walking in the park, I like walking in the park. I kept thinking about what this new guy could be like and I started to laugh.

"I can't believe I'm building a perfect guy while I have a boyfriend," I say to myself aloud. I like Adam. "I love Adam." Adam makes me happy, he understands me and cares about me. Being with Adam makes me happy but sometimes I think about an old friend I used to have.

He understood me like nobody else could. He always knew when I needed someone to talk to and his door was always open to me especially when I needed it. We always joked about me leaving but then one day it really happened.

I finally reached the airport and realized I didn't know where to pick up Adam's friend so I had to pull over and give Adam a call.

Adam: Hey Ross what do you need?

Ross: So I'm at the airport but I have no idea where to get your friend.

Adam: Oh yeah I guess that is an important detail huh

Ross: I would think so

Adam: He's going to be at terminal B exit 7

Ross: Thanks babe now the fun part comes...Parking

Adam: haha good luck then, love you

Ross: Love you too

I hang up the phone and put the car back in drive. "I guess now I have to find Terminal B."

? POV

I checked my phone again for the third time, it flashed 11:50. My luggage bumped against my leg and I sighed. My flight landed 20 minutes ago where is this guy? Adam an old friend of mine had flown me to Washington, saying I could work for him.

Adam and I have been friends for about 3 years now and met at conventions whenever we were both there. He offered me this position and it seemed like a great idea so I decided to go work for him. But now waiting here for 20 minutes I felt like taking a plane back.

Finally, I caved in and decided just to call Adam

Adam: Hey man you at the airport

?: Yeah I've been here for like 20 minutes. Where Is your friend who's supposed to get me?

Adam: Yeah I sent him a little late and he didn't know where to get you but he should be there soon.

?: Okay well if he doesn't get here soon I'm gonna take a plane back home.

Adam: Hey don't do that he'll be there soon okay

?: Fine but he's getting me lunch, got it?

Adam: Okay, but he'll be there soon I promise

?: Okay bye

I hung up an slid my phone back in my pocket. I sighed again and walked over to some chairs to sit down. I closed my eye for a minute to get some sleep until I saw something out of the corner of my eye. Familiar light brown curly hair and...glasses?

Ross' POV

After about 10 minutes in this crazy airport, I finally found a place to park near terminal B. I rushed into a spot and quickly parked. I got out of the car and ran to terminal B. As soon as I got into the terminal to check my phone.

I looked at the time and it flashed 11:56. Crap I hope this guy hasn't been guy hasn't been waiting long. I ran around Terminal B trying to find his exit but I couldn't find it at all. I exhaled loudly and sat down on a chair set of chairs lining the walls of the airport.

I looked at the sign and it said I was in exit 5. I perked up and stood up from my chair starting to run over to exit 7.

When I finally reached exit 7 a large crowd had recently got out but it was for the flight after Adam's friend. I yelled out loud and kicked a wall the people around me stared at me and I quickly apologized. I yelled at myself internally and walked around the baggage claim outside of the exit.

How am I supposed to find this guy when I don't even know what he looks like? I yelled again internally Dammit I should've asked Adam what he looks like, or even his name. Before I could physically punch myself in the face this time I saw something in the far corner of my eye.

I turned and froze right where I stood. A few feet away from stood someone I never thought I would see again. He looked different now, well it has been over 6 years now, of course, he would look different. He was taller and looked like he put an effort in the gym. His hair was longer than I remembered but was still short. He wore a red flannel shirt that flattered his torso and dark blue jeans that looked like they had been used but still were kept in good shape. Over his brown eyes, a pair of black square frames sat on the bridge of his nose.

It took me a few seconds and I finally realized that he was looking directly at me. I took a step forward nearly tripping over myself. Once I regained my composure I stood once again staring at my best friend and my last love.

"Max," I said barely audible and he smiled at me.
