The aroma of coffee filled my nose as I woke from my sleep, my body laying against the cold sheets as Junior was not near me.
I ran my fingers through my messy hair and stretched my arms before getting out of bed and making my way into the kitchen, where I found Junior.
Quietly, I made my way behind him and wrapped my arms around his waist as he prepared breakfast, the smell of bacon and eggs greeting me.
"Good Morning," I smiled against his back. He put the spatula down before turning around in my grasp to kiss me, pulling back after to save the crispy bacon from the pan before it burned.
I grabbed the plates he had prepared and moved them to the island in the kitchen, sitting down across from his position at the stove. Watching as he poured two cups of coffee, handing one to me before making his way over to sit.
I took a sip and then set the drink down, "I think I could get used to this," I smiled and took a bite of the bacon.
He smiled at my comment and shook his head, "I hope you do,"
We finished our breakfast and sat at the counter a little longer, thinking about what we wanted to do today. Junior sighed as his phone buzzed against the counter, "I have to go in today, i'm sorry,"
I nodded my head understanding that his schedule was demanding and plans changed, "Go and get ready, i'll clean up," I said collecting our plates and walking around the island to place them into the sink before cleaning them.
"Thank you," He smiled and pressed a kiss to my cheek before leaving.
It didn't take me long to clean and I began getting ready, pulling on a long white sleeve shirt and pairing it with high waisted denim shorts.
I slipped on a pair of high top converse and grabbed my purse with my laptop, phone and wallet before leaving. Walking down the block to the cafe junior had taken me to on our first date.
When I arrived I ordered a peach tea and then in the same booth Junior and I did a couple nights before. Pulling out my headphones, I plugged them into my laptop, pulling up the videos from Lotte world to begin editing.
A few minutes later the barista came over to my table, setting my drink down before returning back to the counter. I took a sip and then continued my work.
Time had ticked by fast in the small cafe and I had finally finished my video. I collected my things before heading out, walking down the street back to the apartment.
I stopped in my tracks as I stared at the person who made me leave Seoul in the first place, Lee Jun.
I chewed on my bottom lip as I looked for another way to get home, but it was already too late. "Mina is that you?" He asked and my eyes diverted up to meet his, knowing I couldn't hide any longer.
I nodded, "Yeah it's me,"
He reached out to hug me and I flinched, keeping my distance from him. Pulling his hands back, he stuffed them into his front pockets, "How are you?"
I shrugged, "i'm fine,"
He raised and eyebrow and couldn't help but tap my foot against the sidewalk, hoping that our conversation would end as soon as possible.
I let out a sigh of relief as a girl came over to Lee Jun and wrapped her arms around his waist and gave him a kiss on the cheek before turning to me, "Who is this?"
