"Brawl at The Basement?" The reporter said as she showed photos of Jinyoung and I leaving the club on the screen, "Both Simon Dominic of AOMG and Got7's Jinyoung seemed shaken up after the night at the club. The AOMG rapper leaving the club rather early, followed by Jinyoung and his rumored girlfriend. Neither have confirmed the relationship,"
My heart sank as I sat on the couch, my fingers clutching at Jinyoung's dress shirt covering my small frame. I moved from the couch and walked over to my bag, fishing out my phone to see hundreds of messages lining my phone screen.
Many from Sunhi telling me that I needed to come to the JYP building immediately, causing a knot to form in my stomach at the thought of disappointing JYP. Everything was going so well for Jinyoung and I, but good things can't last that long, right?
"You're up early," Jinyoung said as he wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling my attention from my phone. I was so engrossed in my messages that I didn't even hear him walk in the living room.
I nodded and pushed a smile, "Yeah, couldn't sleep,"
He hummed in response and rested his head in the crook of my neck, pressing a soft kiss to the skin there before whispering, with a smirk on his lips, "Because of last night, right?"
I rolled my eyes and smiled genuinely, "You're full of yourself Park Jinyoung,"
My attention moving away from my boyfriend seconds later as my phone rang in my hand, Sunhi's name flashing over the screen. Jinyoung pressed a soft kiss to my temple before heading into the kitchen, giving me some space.
"Hello," I answered.
"Mina, Park is not happy- like I never exaggerate. He's really upset," I took a deep breath as she continued, "I overheard him talking and he's going to let you go. I'm so sorry,"
I nodded and chewed on my bottom lip, before thanking her and hanging up. Keeping my back turned from the kitchen as I tried to regain my composure.
"Mina I made-" Jinyoung spoke as he came into the living room, his words stopping when he saw my tear streaked face, setting the mugs of coffee down before embracing me.
"Baby what's wrong," he asked, and I stayed silent, tears continuing to fall, "Baby please tell me, i'm worried,"
I took a shaky breath before choking out my answer, "I'm a wrench in the gears, I caused so much drama. They let me go, Park is letting me go,"
Jinyoung stared at me with wide eyes, before shaking his head before grabbing his phone off the kitchen counter, dialing a number before speaking.
"God Dammit Sunhi transfer me to Park," He spoke firmly, his jaw clenched as he did so. I could hear her soft voice over the silence in the room, a quiet "I wish I could Jinyoung" coming through the receiver.
I wiped my tears away and tried to speak, my voice cracking before I could do so. Jinyoung taking notice and engulfing me into a hug, my head buried into his chest as tears reappeared once again.
"I can fix this baby, I will fix this," he spoke calmly, his hand gently rubbing circles along my back as the other smoothed down my hair.
Shaking my head in his chest, I pulled away, "I don't want you to fix this,"
My response causing him to raise an eyebrow, "Why not?"
I let out a sigh, "You can't pull strings for me, Jinyoung. I can't have you doing that just because you're my boyfriend,"
He looked baffled at my words, the distance between us increasing after my words, "Just because i'm your boyfriend?", he let out a shallow laugh before looking back over at me, "You know damn well I would do this for you whether I was your boyfriend or not,"
His sudden change in demeanor shocked me, taking a deep breath before speaking, "I don't want this. I don't want to cause more trouble for you, let alone another scandal. I don't want you risking your career over me,"
He just stared blankly, trying to process my words, "Then I guess we're over,"
I blinked back my tears and nodded with a solemn smile, "I guess we are"

"I'm going to miss you," Sunhi said as she tightly hugged me in the airport terminal. Jong Hye standing behind her with a sad look on her face, immediately embracing me in a hug after Sunhi let go.
"I'm going to miss you guys too," I said as I handed over my JYP badge, as well as credit card to Sunhi. Trying to ignore the flashes from the cameras in the terminals around us.
Slightly relieved that the girls did not tell the rest of Got7 what was going on.
"Flight 205 to Los Angeles now boarding," the intercom broadcasted, and I turned to the girls with a sad smile before hugging them both again.
Turning on my heel, adjusting my bag on my shoulder before walking off, my suitcase rolling behind me.
It was the start of something new, at the end of an era.
