Cinder couldn't figure out if it was nerves or actual sickness that made her stomach hurt so badly.

The trip was tediously long and, though Cinder tried, she couldn't sleep through it.

Iko, Scarlet, and Wolf were chatting aimlessly when she walked into the lavish sitting room of the ship.

"Well, look who's here. Sleeping beauty herself," teased Scarlet, "So, apparently for you, a short nap means about fifteen hours?"

"Hush, she's probably just nervous about meeting her baby brother for the first time," defended Iko.

"Baby brother?" Asked Cinder, "Aren't we twins."

"Iko has decided that you are the older one. Even though she has no way of knowing," informed Wolf.

"The diary mentions Cinder first, doesn't it? That obviously counts for something, right!"

"Not necessarily," said Scarlet.

"I'm not sure and since all of the maids that witnessed our births were killed, and it doesn't mention the name of the thaumaturge, we have no way of knowing," reasoned Cinder. "Now, I'm going to go ask the pilot how much longer the trip will be."
