Unexpected yet Meant to be

Chapter 5

Nikki's POV

I cant be selfish.. I know he liked her for a year now.. I should be happy for him.. He was with me during my best and worst. It wouldn't hurt to support him in what makes him happy. okay.. maybe it does hurt a little.. but its fine. Time will pass, wounds will heal.. I'll move on.

"Nikki..." Racielle said as I felt her hand on my back.

"I'm fine. I'm okay.. I'll be fine.. I'll be okay.." I said as I looked down. I've cried too much. this will be my last. cause after this, I'll let go of these feelings... I knew from the start that I'll just get hurt. I wanted this. I played with fire. Now I got burned. 

Racielle hugged me tightly. I hugged her back. 

"Im good. This is all for the best." I whispered to her as we hugged

"This is only a little part of the big picture. We're still young. There's alot of things that will still happen. And Im sure you'll get the happiness you deserve.." Racielle said as she rubs my back 

"Mmm.. Everything will be okay..."

Alex's POV

I've started this. I guess there's no turning back. I've made her cry so much. Damn what's wrong with me. I hate myself for doing that to her. Lets face it. I love her. I do. But I just cant take her in. There are alot of things I have to consider. I want her for myself. YES I do. But the consequences.. Im scared of them. Im scared of what her family would do to her since I know she's from a strict family. Im scared of the consequences she might face because of my thoughtless and immatured actions. Im the older one here. I should know what's best. 

Sheena (: Calling

"Hey"

"Alex?"

"yeah?"

"I m gonna be honest with you"

That's weird. It's as if she's just around the corner

"What is it Sheena?"

"umm. well.. about the xbox game.. I really wanted to surprise you and well.. I came by to the church to see if you were there.."

Really now. I can seriously hear her. Not from my phone. But from the surroundings.

"go straight to the point. I dont mind"

"well.. I overheard your conversation with 2 girls.."

"oh that..."

"umm"

"I'm sorry.. I acted out of impulse"

"Dont worry.. I'll play along"

"Really? I mean.. if you dont want to, I totally understand"

"Who says I dont want that? Im actually happy. "

"happy?"

"mm. Might there be a chance that we could.."

"we could what?"

"give it a try?"

"you did say you'll play along right? what are you saying now?"

"I'm saying that I dont mind being your real girlfriend."

Whoa wait.. Hey... looking on the bright side.. I wont be lying.. I can try and forget these feelings I have for Nikki. Its for the best for both of us. Besides. I meant what I said to Raciell.. Sheena is pretty, kind, caring, and she's within my level.
