Alex's POV

"Nicks, is it okay for you to go out?" I called her around 10 in the evening and knowing her strict family, she wont be allowed. But I still gave it a try.

"It'll be impossible Alex." she said flatly. Ofcourse

"Well is it possible for you to stay on the line?" I asked. Hoping this time, she'll probably be allowed to.

"Yeah I guess. I'll keep it down since they're sleeping already."

"Good."

"Soo what's up?"

"Sheena and I broke up already." okay. Maybe I was too blunt. But I dont wanna go far around this topic already. I have to man up. Take the chance. I know I might ruin our friendship and regret it to the end, but I'll take the risk rather than regretting something I could have done.

Nikki's POV

"Sheena and I broke up already."

"What?!" I almost screamed. But I thought everything was perfect? I mean they loved eachother! It was perfect! They're in the same level. She's his ideal girl, his weakness, she was so caring towards him, they were sweet with eachother.. In his stories, they were perfectly inlove! What happened?! He must be heart broken.. Oh dear.

"It's not working out.." he said quite sadly. I knew something happened.

"Oh dear, what happened.."

"Werent you the one who told me to never date a person you dont love.?Cause you'll be just wasting your time?" he said.

Funny how he remembered that day. I was telling him about a story of a friend who had a boyfriend. Turns out the guy just wanted to complete a dare given by his friends ans I was the most pissed of us all. I mean. Dating is something you do with the one you love, right? Spending time knowing eachother more, creating bonds between the person you want to spend the rest of your life with? Sure Im just 16 to know these stuffs but hey. I got it from a youth seminar. Too bad Alex wasnt there with me that time.

"Yeah well cause it's true. But you love her! And she loves you! For all I know, you guys are match made in heaven! You even said you hit the jackpot having her as your girl! She's like the whole package! Beauty, brains, Body!"

"Now, Nicks, the first part, something was wrong.."

"What do you mean something's wrong? What part?"

"The whole I love her, she loves me thing?"

"What?! Dont tell me she was just acting. What the heck! Why'd he do that to you!" I was so mad. Maybe because it was that she had what I couldnt and then suddenly leaving him? Tch. She was lucky enough to have him! Why did she do this to him. Alex was a sweet guy. Why was she so cruel?!

"No Nicks, You're wrong. " he sighed heavly.

"What do you mean?" now I'm starting to get confused.

"Because.." he dragged on. Oh come on! Stop giving me the suspense moment you know how I hate being left hanging on.

Alex's POV

Once you say something, you can never take it back. And that's why I'm thinking twice right now. What if it still isnt the right time. I mean she's just 16. A teenaged girl who's pretty and smart and has a lot ahead of her. She'll meet tons of guys wanting her. I know quite a few already. And she's not yet in college! And here I am. A 24 years old man who has a job. Wanting a minor to be mine. Is this right? What would the others think of me? What would my friends think of me? What would her family think of me? What would the youth think of me? Is this right? Or is this foolish? Will she accept me? Does she still like me? Or am I too late? Is she dating that Jason dude already?

So many questions are filling up my mind. Should I continue this? Im risking alot here. My reputation. Our friendship. My heart. Yeah cheezy. But who would want their hearts to be broken? I believe no one? Besides. 8 years of gap. Is this even possible? Its like Im the perv taking advantage of a little innocent girl. No one would understand this kind of love. Only those who felt it. But most will still disagree. Can I fight for her? Wont I chicken out and find a way out once were discovered? Ugh! So much thinking. There wont be any answer until it happens.

"Because I dont love her. I love you, Nicks. We broke up because I wasnt inlove with her. It was you all along Nikki. No one esle"

Its done. I said it. There's no turning back now.
