Jack and Friendly have been a married couple for sixty two years and couldn't be happier. Their eyes have never been set on anyone else but each other. Their love grew stronger and stronger every day and they just wanted to live happily ever after.
But that was anything but possible.
Many years ago, the world erupted into chaos when the shadows were mysteriously released. They roamed the earth and caused havoc, corrupting any pure soul they could find. The Guardians once again teamed up to destroy this threat, but this time they needed more help than they could find. They formed a pack with many spirits around the globe to vanquish these deadly spirits once and for all. They call themselves 'Shadow Hunters'. With the help of many friends, and not-so-much-friends, Friendly, being the strongest spirit that lives, leads the pack to rid the world of darkness and bring back peace.
However, during all this chaos, Jack and Friendly seemed to have grown a soft spot for a thirteen year old human boy who wants to be just like them. But little did he know that he was far from normal. When this young boy discovers certain changes happening to him, he believes that he indeed can be of service to the Guardians and help bring back peace to the world.
The Guardians are determined to find the culprit who freed the shadows, but when they do, panic consumes the entire pack when it seems like Jack and Friendly would never be the same again.
