" So how you feeling about seeing Ben again?" E asked. I blushed. " I see that! But remember, we must not let him know." She said. " I know..and I'll try to..." Sof stopped me. " Um..Mal...you once again have a strand of purple hair." She stated. I looked to my right. And strand of purple hair was resting on my shoulder. Oh no! I quickly remember the spell and changed it back to blonde. " How come it keeps changing back to purple! It never did back then..." " Until Ben came along, that must be the reason, since the part of you that's Mal, is coming out more!" Sofia explained. True! Nothing like this ever happened until Ben came back. It could get worse for all I know if I spend more time with Ben. Life. So. Unfair. Sometimes.

We reached the park and saw Ben being pulled around by Kathleen. If she saw something interesting, she would grab his and run off. I smiled. That's just plain adorable. Kathleen turned around to see us. " Sofia, Dove! You're Here!" Kathleen exclaimed. Ben smiled, and was it just me or did his cheeks turn a shade of pink? " Hi Kathleen!" Sofia and I said in unison. Kathleen giggled. " Hehehe! I see that you really are sisters!" Sofia and I looked at each other, and smiled. " Yeah I guess..." " We are!" Sof finished.

Kathleen and Sof ran ahead leaving me with Ben. Thank you E! Note the sarcasm. It stay quiet between us. Until Ben spoke up. " Um....so....how's life?" I smiled at his question. " Life's...been good I guess? You know, life just sometimes throws curve balls just as you get use to stuff." I said. He nodded. " I understand, something can never last as long as you would like." He stated. " Yah.....so....how's your life? It must be really interesting since you know, you're king and all." I said, my voice going a bit deep at the end. " Life's been good for me too I guess. And yah being king kinda makes life interesting but..." He stopped. I looked at him. " But what?" I asked. " But I haven't really been having the best of life since some one important left, and I told you this before." He stated. Once again, my heart filled with sadness. He called me important. I was important to him. But I couldn't do anything that seemed out of the ordinary. I put my hand on his shoulder, which he turned his head to face me. I smiled and looked at him. Our eyes locked. I hadn't realized that our faces were getting closer and closer until.........
