What a Surprise

Dove's POV

  "Wow....looks exactly like I remembered." Awed E.
She was right.
It looked exactly the same. As if time hadn't gone by here.
"Do you guys feel excited!?" Asked Carlos.
We all nodded.
The car came to a stop and the driver opened the door for us.
"Let's get this party started!" Jay cheered.
We laughed and cheered along.

One by one we got out and headed to the front of Auradon Prep.
"Guys wait..." E abruptly said.
We all stopped.
"Do you guys feel that?"
I stood still, then I felt it.
Eyes glaring at my back, magic growing stronger with each breath we took.
This magic I knewn.

I turned around and glared at the person who stood before us.
"Well what a surprise."
"Yes it is Mother....haven't seen you in such a while huh?" I spat out.

I knew it.
Something was going to go wrong.
And of course it's always my mother who has to ruin it.
"It was about time you came back. I first felt you return when you decidced to open up my magic spell book again after years of leaving it behind."
I thought back to when I used my spell book.
I had turned everyone back to there original selves.
Of course it felt weird because it felt as if someone where watching us...now I knew why.

"What do you want anyways?" I asked.
She smiled and started circling us.
She patted Carlos' head and he growled at her, which Mother ingorned.

"You know what I want. I want you 4 to help take over Auradon. To bring them all to thier knees."
"Never!" We exclaimed together.
She glared at us.
"I thought you might say that...that's why-"
She snapped her fingers and a deep cloud of blackness consumed us making it impossible to see.
"I captured your oh loved ones!" My mother's voice rang. "And they have a surprise for you..."

Just then, Ben stumbled in front of me.
Well a couple feet away from me.
He looked around and then he smiled at me.
He was relieved.
But what surprise did my mother mean?
"They have the TRUTH!"
A gold glow surrounded Ben, then it disappeared.
"That's right...the truth. The truth is I never really loved you Mal. Do you really think my intensions were to bring you here because I missed you or cared?" Ben said.
He seem annoyed with.
But...
Ben.....
"No...I brought you here because I prosimed my people that I bring you and your 3 follwers back to dace your pushiment! Honestly...I was so tired of you, you made Audrey look like a perfect girlfriend!"
I stumbled back...unsure of how I could take this...
Ben really didn't love me?

"Honestly Mal really? You seriously couldn't take a hint could you? I dated you because I felt bad for you. I did it because the others guys dared me to, they thought it be fun and it was. A king dating a VK? What a joke! I wanted too see how long it would go...who knows maybe I could have made you fall for me hard that I would get you laid. But of course I just couldn't take it no more! That's why I never introuced you to any of my family members because I was embarrassed of you and-"

I was crying hard.
This didn't sound like him.
This wasn't him.

" Hold it!" I wiped the tears away. Why cry over a stupid decode of my mother's creation.
" You said you'd never introduced me to any of your family members....huh?"
The decoded nodded.
"You don't deserve to meet them..."
I smiled.
" Of course I don't. You decode. If you were really Ben you would remember introducing me to Kathleen. Right?"
He looked taken back.
"Of course...but that was because she begged me to. I mean come on. At school, word was spreading and-"

"Oh I never meet her when we were at school. We meet on the set of my show. I signed her poster of my show. You and I first saw each other again on the set of my show! You discovered who I really was! You aurged with a guy over me. You took me on dates, and you asked me to be your girlfriend again. But this was never at school!"

With every word I spoke I would take a step towards him.
And when I reached him.
I pushe him down with alot of force that he disappeared in a green cloud and darkness went away too.

I took a shakey breathe.
Then I fell to my knees.
I had to remind my self that, that wasn't Ben.
Ben did love me.
I knewn this.

I got up and looked around.
There was still cloudes of darkness and with every step the clouds disappered.

I have to find my friends.
