A/N: The.. final chapter. I'm going to miss this amazing story and journey so very much but all good things come to an end. Don't you dare forget I love you all so so so much! Also, if you really do enjoy my writing, would you check out my other new stories? I have two new ones up: Fandoms meet Demigods and Superheroes: Gone wrong. I'll also start a new KOTLC fanfic soon! It'll be a crossover though.

Sophie woke up to a gorgeous sunrise, and then stupidly realized she'd completely forgotten to close the curtains- just like her first day in the Lost Cities. She laughed a little at her mistake before hopping it of bed, off to find her friends. It might've just been Keefe rubbing off on her but she suddenly wanted to really play pranks on them. Shaking off the feeling, she finally came to a stop in front of Biana's room.

Sophie Elizabeth Foster did not really feel like waking up Biana (she was known to be rather snobby in the mornings if she didn't get her beauty sleep) but figured it had to be done. Sighing and shaking her head, she pushed open the door and clapped her hands. The noise wasn't enough to wake Biana up but her action turned the crystal chandelier light fixture on.

"Biana! Wake up already!" Sophie shouted, walking towards the bed. After a few more yells her friend finally responded a little. "Mhm, just... one more... second... mom." Biana muttered, turning over in her bed. Rolling her eyes, Sophie tried again. "Wake up! You've got Foxfure today- do you really want to be late?" Sophie said in a resounding tone. She knew she'd bluffed but had no idea what else to do to get her up.

"What?! Oh no! I need to look perfect! Then I've got to meet Fitz outside and- wait..." Biana exclaimed, springing to action before slowing down. She was already out of bed and halfway to her closet before she stopped marching and whipped around. Spotting Sophie instead of her mom, she scowled. "Sophie! Why did you do that? You could've just woken me up like a normal person." Biana said grumpily, groaning before sitting on the bed again.

Sophie was in hysterics, she was cracking up as soon as Biana came to. This was amazing! "I- I'm sorry but... that w- was hilariou-s!" Sophie said, stuttering and pausing continuously due to the laughter. Biana huffed, "Well honestly Sophie, look how early it is!" She said and gestured to the sunrise peeking out from the crystal glass.

Sophie finally calmed herself down and plopped down next to Biana. "Yeah I know, I know but I accidentally woke up too early and had to do something." She chuckled. "Now come on," She jumped up and waved her hand, going to the door, "We've got some boys to wake up."

An hour later, Sophie and Biana had successfully pranked the boys (Fitz totally looked hot even when he was soaked head to toe in water, by the way) and they were sitting around the breakfast table with Alden and Della- ready to eat some gnomish vegetables for breakfast. "What's going on with you and the Fitzer?" Keefe asked in a moment where Alden and Della were - thankfully - busy prepping the food and in Alden's case, reading some scrolls.

Sophie gave Keefe a death glare and sincerely wished she had laser eyes to shoot him. "Nothing!" She answered, probably too quickly. In an attempt to escape from any interrogation Keefe had planned, she remembered the crystal in her pocket and got up to ask Alden.

"Alden?" Sophie said, "I have something I need to talk with you about. It's important." She added when his head straightened up from the scroll. "Of course Sophie, follow me." He said with his crisp accent and smiled. Alden led Sophie up to his office and promised her that Della wouldn't start breakfast without them. "What was it you had to talk to me about? I hope you're not worrying yourself over Silveny," he paused,
"She's perfectly fine at the Sanctuary - and Greyfell seems to be getting along with-" Sophie shook her head. "That's not what I was about to ask you about." She smiled apologetically, taking out the blue pendant from her pocket.

"I found this leaping crystal to the Forbidden cities yesterday when we were playing a game. I was wondering what it was doing laying in your garden." Sophie tilted her head in curiosity, looking up at him. She smiled a little at his warm face before he chuckled. She shook her head, a little confused as she looked at the fish tank surrounding them. "Sophie don't worry about it, that's actually Tiergan's crystal. He must've left it here on his latest visit last week." Alden laughed a little more before smiling brightly and taking the cobalt colored crystal out of Sophie's palm. "Thank you though, Sophie, for returning it to me. I'm glad you didn't jump to conclusions." He added with a joking wink at her and she felt the heat rise to her cheeks from embarrassment.

"Um yeah," she nodded, "Now can we go get breakfast? I'm famished." After a quick approval from Alden she raced down the stairs and plopped back into her seat by Biana.

"What're we having?" Sophie asked Della, turning to face her as Alden came back downstairs as well. Della smiled, going to explain what it was. "You'll love it, Sophie." She promised and served the soupy stuff. It looked like abc gum mixed with something-that-shouldn't-be-in-soup. Not exactly appetizing. Sighing, Sophie took a sip of it and her eyes widened as flavors blossomed against her tongue. It was amazing! So flavorful and fruity and just overall fantastic. With a grin she demolished the rest, and all thoughts of Keefe and Fitz vanished form her mind.

A few hours later, she had to go back to Havenfield. Keefe had left only a little earlier and had - quite surprisingly - given Biana a quick kiss on the cheek. As a result, Biana was now enduring some serious teasing from Sophie and Fitz which she simply countered with, "Like you two are any better," and a smirk.

Sophie managed to fight down the blush and simply gave her friend a hug before turning to Della and Alden. "Thank you for letting me come, I loved this." Sophie smiled at them. "It's not a problem Sophie, you know you're welcome here any time." Della and Alden chorused before hugging her. She nodded and relished in their warmth before letting go and turning to say goodbye to Fitz.

He seemed to see the awkward way she was standing and grinned, hugging her and sneaking in a small kiss on the cheek. "I'll see you later." He whispered into her ear before letting go and waving. "Bye Sophie!" Biana and Fitz said before Sophie stepped out the golden blinding gates and brought her home crystal up to the light, waving goodbye. One short relaxing adventure was now over and Sophie was ready to make a difference in this world. One step at a time.
