Lights on.
Audience seated.
Ready for the curtain call.
Dipper and Mabel Gleeful stood behind the curtains as a single spotlight shone on the fabric, revealing their shadows standing side by side.
Each twin raised their outside hand high in the air, linking arms, making the audience ooh and aah at them.
"Welcome to the tent of telepathy!" their voices boomed in sync.
The curtains parted like the red sea as mysterious and ominous music was played by the small band which were at the side of the stage, revealing the twins.
A few girls swooned as Dipper flashed a dashing smile at the audience, Mabel made a sweet but saucy look earning a few catcalls from the males in the group of onlookers.
"I am the mysterious and magnificent Dipper Gleeful! and my lovely assistant, here" Dipper began as he strode towards the front of the stage.
"The Dazzling Mabel!" his sister added, strutting to his side.
"And together we are....the Telepathy Twins!" they said in unison, indulging in the audience's cheers and praise.
Will Cipher waited apprehensively in the back row, awaiting his cue to come up on stage.
"Ah, a volunteer" Dipper purred, beckoning Will to come up on stage.
The humanized demon slunk up to the stage shyly and stood next to Dipper and Mabel.
Mabel opened the lid of the box for Will to go into, waiting until he was securely inside it before he shut the door.
"Mabel, the trick swords if you please" the magician ordered, his assistant handing them to him, everyone looked on in awe as the swords were inserted through the slots, gasping as they saw little bits of blood leaking through the holes.
After a minute or two, Dipper removed the swords.
"Let's hope the volunteer is still with us. How about it, Will? are you still alive?" Dipper asked, receiving a smirk from Mabel. He returned the sinister smirk before opening the lid.
Will stepped out and did a turn, showing the audience he was alright.
A huge wave of applause rippled through the audience.
Dipper was about to hand the swords to Mabel when he felt slightly ill when he saw the blood.
As the show went on, the pain in Dipper's being grew bigger and bigger as if something inside him was eating away at him.
The more he spoke, the more his agony was prolonged.
"Dipper? Dipper! Dipper?!" Mabel repeatedly called, seeing her brother grow pale.
He started to sway on his feet, the voices were muffled as if he was under water.
Black shadows floated across his vision.
Will ran forward, looking very alarmed.
It was only then when Dipper Gleeful collapsed, blacking out.
