Makenna's P.O.V.

I woke up the night after the party with a killer headache and my outfit was sticking to my body. But, I did sleep in my bed so that must be a plus, you go Kenna! Way to make it to your bed! I looked over at the time. 11:36 I slept til 11? Geez, what happened last night? Groaning, I got up and trudged over to my bathroom, looking for some aspirin. After that, peeled off my clothes and hopped into the shower. Warm water poured on my shoulders at the perfect temperature. It felt as if I haven't showered in months, that's how grimy I felt. After standing in the shower for a good half hour, I stepped out and wrapped myself in a soft towel. The shower made my headache more manageable, but slipping my glasses on made it bearable. I sat in sweats and a sweatshirt that Saturday, watching cartoons for a good part of the morning. But, I still had no idea what happened to me last night. It was only a little past noon here, which means it's about 6pm where the boys are. Niall was busy all day, so there weren't any texts from him. So, I sat in the big comfy chair, held my bowl of ramen noodles, and dialed the boys number, hoping he'll pick up.

"Hello?"

"Liam?" I laughed, "Why do you have Niall's phone?"

"He's out at sound check right now with the band, and Louis took it while he was sleeping. I could go run out on stage and hand it to him, but I think he's almost done."

"Okay, so how are was your day?" I asked, making small talk. Liam laughed.

"Nice way to start a conversation. I heard your party was great last night."

"Wait, how did you-"

"You don't remember?" He laughed really hard, "I wish Niall recorded it!"

"Liam, what happened?"

"You were drunk and called Niall at like 10 this morning. You said-" he was interrupted by someone else in the room and a new voice came through the speaker.

"Please tell me Liam was lying," I said laying back in the chair.

"He wasn't." Niall said, chuckling, "It was pretty cute though!"

"What exactly did I do?" I asked, sighing.

He laughed, "Whined, cried, rambled on and on about me. Do I need to say anything else?"

Shaking my head before realizing he couldn't see me, I replied, "Please don't."

I heard his laugh, "So, how's the day after doing ya?"

"I have a headache," I groaned, "How's it going across the Atlantic?"

"It's nice," he said, "It's getting warmer, but I'm still in those damn coats."

"I think it makes you look sexy." I smirked, which made him laugh.

He cleared his throat, "Careful what you say, the boys are in the room."

I laughed a little as my cheeks rosied up, "Oh."

"Yeah so, there's something I'm really excited to tell you about, but I have to get ready for tonight's show. So I'll call you after?"

I smiled, "Definitely. Have a great show tonight. I love you Ni."

I heard him chuckle a little, "I love you too."

"Tell the boys I say hi!" I said quickly in the phone.

"I will bye love."

And then the line went dead, so I was alone once again. I groaned and picked up the TV remote, and kept flipping through the channels. “Nothing, nothing, nothing,” I groaned and kept mumbling to myself, throwing the remote to the floor. Only 3 more hours to kill. Great. I sighed and picked up my phone, slipping on my shoes to head out the front door. The cool spring afternoon felt nice to walk in. A few little kids passed by me and I smiled at them as they laughed and continued biking down the street. There were a few splotches of snow left in some yards, considering it is the middle of March and still winter. My moccasins were falling off my feet, and I dug my feet in them more to keep them on. Eventually, I stopped at the park in the end of my neighborhood and sat on one of the swings. Swaying back and forth for about an hour and twiddling my thumbs, the swing next to me was taken by someone. A little girl, who looked about 7 and had a light brown ponytail with brown eyes. She turned to look at me and waved.
