"I'm adopted." Were the first words that escaped her lips.

I pulled her back into a hug. The poor thing. No wonder she was crying her eyes out.

She hugged me back tightly as if she never really wanted to let go. I stroked her hair gently until she fell asleep.

I shifted her into a position where I could drive with her safely.

I finally get back to the house and gently carry her inside. I set her on the spare room bed before heading downstairs.

Josh was sitting in the kitchen, playing on his phone while eating.

"What's with Emily being back here?" He asked, looking up at me.

"She got some pretty bad news this morning and it really shocked her." I said with a sigh.

Josh's expression changed to intrigued. "What news did she find out?" He asked.

"That she's adopted." I say softly so only Josh would hear.

Josh looked shocked. "Oh my... That is serious." ((A/N: "I'm serious." ~Josh's phone 2016.))

I nod. "Don't bring it up to her though. She's asleep in the guest room. But I think she probably just wanted to get away from her mom."

Josh nodded. "That makes sense I mean I would too if I was in that situation."

I grab something quick to eat before heading back to my room.

I wake up in the sidemen guest room. I guess I fell asleep in the car.

I grab my phone and see messages from Gracie and Taylor.

Gracie: Yo, where are you?
               Y'all right?

Taylor: You okay?
               Why aren't you at school?
               Don't ignore me 🙄

I quickly reply to them both.

Emily: Guys I'm fine I promise. Just got some shocking news so I won't be showing up today I don't care what my 'mother' says. I'll see you guys tomorrow.

I put my phone down and exit the room. I notice Simon had his door open so I slipped in.

"Hey Si." I say softly.

"Hey Emily. You feeling better?" He asked with a caring tone to his voice.

"Yep. I'm doing okay... Still not great though." I say softly.

He turns to face me and I walk over before sitting in his lap.

He wrapped his arms around me gently and I leaned into him.

I felt so hopeless and broken. My whole life was a lie so it basically just shattered before my eyes.

"Wanna maybe film a q & a? Get your mind off of things?" Simon suggests.

I smile and nod. "I would love to."

He pulls out his phone and tweets out.
