Tuesday morning (11:15am)
Oh. My. God. I swear if Eleanor doesn't shut the fuck up, she's gonna have a black eye.
"El! I'm trying to sleep, shut the frick up," I said in a bitchy tone.
"It's past eleven. Get your lazy ass out of bed," Eleanor said.
"Ugh! fine,"
I got up and went into the bathroom. I brushed my hair and my teeth. I used the bathroom, washed my hands and washed my face.
"Where's Chanelle?" I asked Eleanor.
"She went to go get us some breakfast at this café called "Morning" just down the street from the campus, she should be back soon," she replied.
"Oh ok."
I had to read a chapter from a french book of our choice for tomorrow, so I decided to read it now.
I had three pages left of my chapter when Chanelle got back.
"I got breakfast," she said.
"Food!" Eleanor screamed.
They both sat at the table and started eating.
"Mila, aren't you gonna eat?" questioned Chanelle.
"Ya, just let me finish my chapter," I answered.
"On my way to Morning, I bumped into Christian, and he-" Chanelle started, but Eleanor cut her off.
"Who's Christian?" asked Eleanor.
"This really hot guy in my math class," answered Chanelle. "Anyways, we bumped into each other, and we started talking and he asked me out. We're going out for pizza and a movie at 7:00pm. But I have a problem," Chanelle said.
I finished my chapter and put my book into my school bag. I sat down at the table with the girls and started to eat.
"What's the problem?" I asked.
"Well, I have this science lab due tomorrow, and I won't have time to finish it, I know that you both have your own school work to do, but please I'm begging you, could one of you finish it for me?" Chanelle asked.
"I would help you, but I suck in science. Camila's the one with the straight A's, maybe she could do it," Eleanor said.
"Mila?" Chanelle asked with hope.
"Sure, I'll do it," I said.
"Oh my god! Thank you so much! You're a life saver! And don't worry whenever you need something I've got your back," Chanelle said.
"We've all got each other's backs," said Eleanor.
We got interrupted by my phone ringing.
"Hello?" ... "Hey mom" ... "Oh my god, that's great news!" ... "Ya, I'll tell her" ... "Bye, love you too"
"What's the good news?" asked Eleanor.
"Do you remember that photoshoot that we did, El?" I asked her."Ya," she answered.
"Well my mom called and said that everyone at my mom's company loved your photos," I said. "Eleanor, my mom wants to sign you."
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH," Eleanor squealed. "I can't believe it! This is awesome! It's always been my dream to be a model, and it's gonna come true! I love your mom, she's amazing! I can't wait! When does she want to meet?"
"Friday, right after school," I replied.
"Tell her I'll be there. Wait where?" Eleanor asked.
