Chapter 11

Camila's POV: (Wednesday 1, a week later)

    The girls and I get ready for school. I put on some boyfriend ripped jeans, a black crop top, black sneakers, my rings, I do my normal makeup look, and Chanelle does a waterfall braid in my hair. I make Chanelle and I a smoothie, and Eleanor makes us stop at Starbucks, so she can get a frap.

    Once we're in the school, Eleanor, Antonio and Nick go to their class together. Chanelle and a girl named Maya go to their class together. Which leaves Shawn and I alone, together.

    This is just great. Like I want to be stuck with Shawn for more than an hour after what he did. Why, God? Why?

    "Camila, please talk to me. I know that Antonio told you what I said, and as much as I don't want to let you go, I have to. The only thing I would do is hurt you, and I don't want that," Shawn said.

    "Oh my god, Shawn, I'm not a little girl! I can handle hurt. For my whole life I've been taking care of myself. All I wanted was you, but you were too late... Look, I gotta go to class, I don't wanna be late."

    "Wait... Camila," Shawn said.

    But I didn't wait, I just continued. I know that we're in the same class, but at least I didn't have to walk to class with him.

    I don't wanna get hurt, but I'm hurt by the fact that he left... Is it me? Did I do something wrong? He said that he didn't wanna let me go, but how am I supposed to know that it's the truth?

    Nick and I had second period off. So we decided to go to the library, since Nick hadn't finished his homework that was due third period. We hung out and talked, until it was time to go.

    " And Camila, you will be with Shawn," Mrs. Filk said.

Oh. My. Fucking. God. You've gotta be kidding me.

    "For this project you will have to make a presentation, I don't care how, be as creative as you want. You will have to learn interesting things about your partner, things that your partner doesn't mind you talking about. I will give you the rest of the period to work on it with your partner. This will be the only time you get to work on it in class. So you will have to meet up with your partner after school or on the weekends. Have fun! You may begin."

    Shawn turned around in his chair, facing me.

    "Can we meet up after school to work on this?" Shawn asked.

    "I have a soccer game, but if you can, we can meet up after."

    "Ok, my dorm or yours?" he asked.

    "Mine, ok let's get started."

    "Let's win this thing! You girls ready?" I said.

    "Yaaaa!!!" all the team shouted.

    "Good game Doriento," Shawn said once I got out of the locker rooms.

    We made our way to my dorm. Once we got there, I received a text from Eleanor.

From Eleanor: Hey! Antonio told Chanelle and I that Shawn's coming over, for a project. So we will be at the grill. Have fun! Don't forget to use a condom!!!

To Eleanor: Kk, thanks. And shut up! Maybe I'll come and meet u girls there later. Xox

    "Ok, let's get started," I said.
