Chapter 26

Camila's POV, December 21st, Canada

The house is completely set up, and now we are all getting ready before the guests start arriving.

For my makeup I put mascara and do a winged eyeliner look. I curl my hair and start getting dressed. I'm wearing a red swing dress with sheer black stockings and knee high black heeled boots. My nails are done french tip, and I'm wearing silver rings.

Thirty minutes after everyone's ready people start arriving, and the party begins. All of my mom's and dad's friends are here along with their kids. After talking and dancing, we eat dinner, which we have a whole buffet of food on tables. After eating we play games, and then everyone starts drinking and partying, while all the kids and teens go out to play in the park, and get a hot beverage at Starbucks.

Camila's POV, December 22nd, Canada

Once everyone left last night, we all went to bed right away since it was two thirty in the morning. I woke up at eleven o'clock and got ready right away, since I had a lot of gifts to buy. 

I take a quick shower and put on white high waisted jeans, a green could shoulder sweater and white converse. I put my hair up into a ponytail and do my normal makeup, with my silver rings. 

Once I finished eating breakfast, I hopped into my mom's car and made my way to the Rockland mall. 

I have 16 presents to buy. One for my mom, dad, Eric, Max, Daniela, Sofia, Eleanor, Chanelle, Shawn, Antonio, Jannah, Makayla, Mathieu, Shawn's parents, my grandparents on my mom's side, and my grandparents on my dad's side. 

-Mom (matching earrings, necklace and bracelet,)

-Dad (a new expensive tennis racket)

-Eric (a silver rolex watch)

-Max (new expensive soccer cleats)

-Daniela (a rose gold 'Michael Kors Slim Runway' watch,) 

-Sofia (black and white Jordan's,)

-Eleanor (5 dresses from Garage and a pair of black thigh high boots,) 

-Chanelle (new dance clothes and shoes,) 

-Shawn (a black rolex watch,) 

-Antonio (seasonal basketball tickets)

-Jannah (Columbia University hoodie)

-Makayla (Stanford University hoodie)

-Mathieu (Harvard University hoodie)

-Shawn's parents (2008 Chave Hermitage white wine,)

-Grandparents on mom's side (imported wood desk from Italy)

-Grandparents on dad's side (a vintage set of dishes)

The stores are now closing and I was able to find everything I needed, which is a relief since I'm doing my Christmas shopping so late this year.

"Eric, Daniela, Sofia, and I are going out for dinner like usual. Are you coming?" Max asks me.

"Sure what time?" 

"As soon as you're ready," he replies.

"Ok, I'll hurry up."

I take another shower, I redo my makeup and put my hair into a ponytail and curl it. I put on some burgundy high waisted jeans, a black cropped turtleneck and some knee high boots. Then I make my way downstairs, and my siblings and I all get into Eric's car and we drive off to a diner that we always go to the five of us before Christmas. It's kind of a tradition that we have, since during the time between we finish school to the 20th all five of us are at different places doing different things, so we all go to the diner together to talk about what we did and what happened in the past days.
