"Lost And Scared'

DEMI's P.O.V.

"You Are Pregnant!" Miley said not looking up from the tests that was in her hands. She didn't want to see Demi's reaction. But she needed to be there for Demi.

"No. This can't be happening. I can't be pregnant. " Demi said as she took the tests away from Miley. Tears were rolling down her cheeks as she looked at the tests.

"Dems, Everything is going to be fine. We are gonna get through this. I'm with you. And I will be with you till the end. And we, together, will give this baby the best life we can. You'll be the best mother out there. I promise you." Miley hugged Demi tight. And Demi, she just let all of her tears fall.

"Now come on. Let's watch a movie. It's been a long morning. " Miley says after they released from the hug. She gave Demi an assuring, genuine smile which Demi returned with a small smile.

Demi couldn't concentrate on the movie. It was hard to believe that she's pregnant. There were a million things going through her mind.

She's pregnant with a baby. She's carrying her ex's baby. And she not that kind of woman to give her own child up for adoption. And there is NO way she'll get abortion and kill the baby. What kind of mother will that make her? She has NO idea what she's gonna do either. Sure she's not giving up the baby, she's going to keep it. She'll be a mother in 9 months or so. Her whole life is going to change. What will she do when the baby is born? Will she be able to be a good mother and raise it up perfectly? Sure thing that she's going to be a single mother. She isn't going to tell anything about the baby to Joe. She can't let her child have any kind of relationship with its asshole father. But what is she going to do? She'll need help. She knows that Miley is going to help her in every way she possibly can. But she'll need her mother to teach her how to be a Mother. But what if her family doesn't accept it? What if they hate Demi for this? What if they hate her baby? What if they kick her out of the family? She can't let that happen. After all it's her baby. And she's it's mother. Even though Demi is Lost And Scared right now, she'll do anything to keep it safe and to protect it no matter what. She'll try to be the best mom she can.

At this point, silent tears were rolling down Demi's cheeks. Miley noticed and hugged her best friend for the millionth time considering it is what she needs the most at this time.

"Demi, baby, why are you crying? You should be excited. I know things are a bit complicated right now. But think, at the end of this year, you'll be a mother. Just think about holding your baby for the first time. A baby is a blessing, Demi. And about being alone, I'm here and of course your family will be here for you too. Fuck men. We'll give the baby the best life ever. Just think about everything you will do with him or her. You will be able to see it grow into a beautiful woman or a handsome man.  You'll be able to teach it  and watch it be the best child ever. I know you always dreamt of being a Mother, Dems. It's your dream coming true. Think about it. You'll be a mother to a precious baby." Miley smiled at Demi as she smiled back.

Sure everything Miley said was right. Demi always wanted to be a Mother. She always wanted to see her child grow up. Maybe things will end up beautifully. Maybe things will be the way Demi wants it to be. She can just hope..

"You're right, Miles. I'm going to be a mother!" Demi smiled at the thought of being a mom. Things can't be bad. Can they?

"So now we will have to find you a good GYN. We'll search tonight " Miley smiled at her best friend.

"Sure." Demi smiled back grateful to have her in her life.
