"Will I Ever Have A Father?"

DEMI's P.O.V.

I can't believe I saw Joe today. I never expected to see him. I've moved to New York just to move away from him and the past. I don't need him in my life. I've been fine and I will be. I have my daughter and my best friend there for me.

"Mommy, can we stop at McDonalds? I'm hungry!" Issue said bringing me back to reality.

"Of course, sweetie!" I said to my daughter

"Miles, stop at a McDonalds" I said to my best friend

"Sure" She said.

We stopped at a McDonalds and ordered our food. We found a table and sat down.

"So, Dems. Since you are quitting your job, what are you gonna do? I mean have you applied for any jobs?"

"I've got a job as Ms. Hadid's assistant in Hadid Company. And I'm willing to do this job." She said.

"That's good. But do u remember why you are quitting the job? To be with Izzy. Won't you have to work too much as an assistant?" She asked

"I know. But she has two assistant and I'm sure I won't have to work too much. I still got the weekends. " I said

"True" She said

We got home and now I was on the couch with Izzy on my lap. She was colouring and I was just watching.

"Mommy, will I ever have a father?" Izzy asked

"I don't know, sweetie. But isn't mommy enough?" I asked feeling bad that she doesn't have a father.

"Yes. But every other kid has a daddy and I don't." She frowned

" Well, they are every other kid and you are princess Isabella. And honey, your father is a bad person. He hurt mommy so much" I said.

"Im sorry, mommy. If he hurt you, I hate him. I don't need a daddy. " she smiled

"That's my girl. But maybe one day you'll get a daddy " I smiled

"Okay mommy!" She smiled.

We then watched a movie together until Izzy fell asleep in the middle of the movie. I picked her up and carried her to bed. Then I went to the kitchen where Miley was.

"Hey, Miles. What you doing?" I asked while putting my hair up in a messy bun.

"Nothing. Just working on the bills" She said.

"Do you have work tomorrow?" I asked

"Yes. Why?" Miley asked.

"I was thinking of going on a fancy dinner since I'm quitting the job and we haven't done it in a long time...." I said.

"You asking me out on a date!?" Miley asked jokingly.

"So funny!" I said with sarcasm.

"Okay, okay! I'll be back early" Miley said

"Okay, cool. Let's watch a movie" I suggested

"Didn't you just watch a movie with Izzy?" She said raising her eyebrows

"That was Frozen! Let's watch a more big girl movie " I said

"You mean 50 shades?" Miley said joking

"No way! Bitch. I didn't mean that. You know what I meant. Don't you?" I said

"Okay, fine. What you wanna watch?" She said.

"Let's watch Allegiant. We haven't completed that movie last time." I said.

"Yeah. Because we both fell asleep " Miley laughed

"Yeah!" We got up and went to watch a movie.
