I walked out and answered it. "Jess?"

"Lakyn? Can you please come home from LA and get me?" She sobbed and I immediately agreed.

"What's going on J?" I asked in concern.

"I went to a two day two night party and all of a sudden drugs and alcohol showed up..." I sighed and then closed my eyes.

"I'm coming Jess. It's gonna be around six hours. This will stay between us. I promise." I hung up and walked back into the music room and grabbed the last part of my uniform, my jacket, and put it on.

"Are you leaving?" Camila asked with tears clouding her eyes.

"I have too... Something happened at home and I have to fix it." I buttoned up my jacket and sighed. "I wish I could stay, but this is an emergency." I told her because I felt her eyes burning holes into the side of my fave. She walked me out where a few devoted fans were still standing. Camila walked me out, even though I told her it was okay.

The fans screamed as we both emerged from the venue. I hailed a taxi and that's Camila broke down. She sobbed and clung onto my body. "I just got you back Lay..."

"I know, but this can't wait. I'm sorry Cami." I put my head in her neck and took a big whiff of her perfume and conditioner. She nodded and pulled away slowly wiping her eyes.

"We'll see each other in a week or so..." She mumbled and I nodded and hugged her once more.

"I love you Camila. I'm sorry I can't stay longer." With that I opened the taxi door and got in. "LAX please." I told him trying to hold my composure. He nodded and drove me away. Away from the girl I love. Once again I was being pulled away from her.

Miami:

I hailed a taxi home and then got into my car. Jessie texted me the address and of course it was in a bad part of Miami. "C'mon Jess..." I mumbled to myself before driving towards the destination. It was about twenty minutes away and all I could hope for is that Jessie is safe.

The phone occasionally told me which street to turn down and I could tell I was nearing the bad part of Miami because graffiti and rundown buildings started coming up more frequently. Soon it was every building. 'Drive six hundred feet to your destination.' The annoying voice rang out. I did as the stupid thing told as pulled over by a abandoned building. Red solo cups were on the ground with some liquor bottles. I took my phone and got out making sure to grab my switchblade.

"Jessie?" I walked into the building where she was huddled into a corner with two people around her. I grabbed the drunken teens in each hand and threw them away from her. "Come on Jessie." She crashed into me and I led her out to my car.

"Lakyn watch out!" I turned around only to be punched in the eye.

"Jessie get in the car." I told her as I took out my switchblade. The older teen around eighteen backed up. "Get the fuck away from me you son a bitch." He backed up with his hands up and I slammed the broken door to the building shut.

"I'm so sorry." Jessie said sobbing as I drove home. She repeated it over and over making me sigh.

"Jessie this is between you and I. No one else, and don't worry I forgive you." Her phone started ringing and I immediately grabbed it thinking it was that thug from that abandoned house.

"If you ever call this number again I will not hesitate to stab the shit out of you. Do you hear me? You will not see my sister again."

"Lakyn?" I slammed on the brakes when I heard Camila on the other end.

"Camila?" I asked, but she cut me off.

"What's going on? Where are you? Your car isn't in the driveway." She said in worry.

"Why're you in Miami?" I avoided her questions and continued to drive towards the house.

"I took a flight home an hour after you left because... I really missed you and I need to see you for longer than that. Why are avoiding my questions?" She asked making me wince... Of course she's notice what I was trying to pull off.

"Because I'm home." I pulled up in the driveway and turned the car off. Camila opened the door and walked over to us.

"Oh my god, what happened to your eye Lay?" She pulled my face down and examined it in the flickering motion light.

"It's nothing really, I got hit by a bottle." She looked at my sister who had 'Overtown, Miami' written on the face of her hand. Are you kidding me Jessie.

"Why were you both in Overtown?! Do you know how dangerous that place is?" She ranted and I nodded.

"It was my fault..." Jessie cut in making me send her a glare. "I needed her to come get me from a party that went bad."

"Jessie go inside now." I told her and she sighed and nodded. Camila sighed and ran a hand through my hair.

"You scared me Lakyn... You can't give me a heart attack like that." I nodded and pulled her into a tight hug.

"I'm sorry." I whispered in her ear.
