Ally drove over and parked in the parking lot. We all got out as I pulled on my backpack and put on my hat I was holding all the way here. They took their place next to a bunch of other friends and families who had soldiers getting deployed. "I'll be right back." I told them

Camila's POV:

I watched Lakyn greet a high ranking officer with a salute before handing him her deployment papers. He checked her off before handing her a thin sleeping bag and then assault rifle. "Oh god I'm gonna be sick." I whispered while looking away. Dinah and Ally hugged me as I took deep breaths.

"Cami..." I heard Lakyn's voice and turned around to see her standing there. I pulled her into a hug and the first tear slid out.

"I'm gonna miss you Lay." I let more silent tears slide out as she wiped them away. She kissed my forehead before lifting my chin. She pulled something out of her pocket and handed it to me.

"Don't open it until I'm gone. Okay?" She whispered making me nod. She hugged the girls and picked up her sister into a hug.

"Don't worry Jess. I'll be back to ruin your life more soon." The soldier joked making me crack a small smile. Jess nodded and punched her sister in the arm. They called for soldiers as Lakyn grabbed my face and pulled me into a long painful, but loving kiss. I pulled away with tears sliding down my face. "I love you guys, but I love Camila more." She winked before walking away towards the plane. She got in the line and walked up the ramp before disappearing.

I walked into the empty house and looked at the black thin jewelry box in my hands. I sat down on the couch and opened it. There was a note on top so I took it and opened.

'Camila,

I've been waiting for weeks to gain enough courage to give you this... However, I never had enough to give it to you in person. Now that I'm gone you have it in your hand. My heart, soul, and how I feel about you. If you want to wear it around your neck go for it, it'll make me happy. If not that's fine too.'

I set down the note and picked up the golden chain and then the whole thing. There was a ring at the end so I picked it up and literally dropped it when I saw the diamonds... She was going to propose, but she was too nervous...? I held it in my hand and looked at the big diamond that was surrounded by little diamonds. My heart fluttered at the jewelry.

I put the chain around my neck and smiled as the ring fell to the middle of my chest.

The next day:

Lauren walked into the house to come get me for the concert tonight. I got up and walked over to her. "Are you okay Camz?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. We should probably go. I grabbed my glasses and phone as we walked out. Lauren pulled me back and grabbed my necklace.

"Oh." She spoke with raised eyebrows as she looked at the ring. "OH MY GOD!" She screamed with a huge grin. "Come on! Let's go show the girls." We drive off speeding onto the roads. Our venue was in Miami tonight which only will take twenty minutes to get there. "So did you accept the long distance proposal?" The green eyed girl asked and I nodded with a smile.

We talked about it the whole ride to the venue before finally arriving. I waved at fans and took pictures with a few. One noticed the ring on my neck and asked me about it. I just smiled and sent a wink before walking into the venue.

Ally, Mani, and Dinah were already here. They rushed to greet me and Lauren who was trailing behind me a bit. We got ready, all dressed up, makeup, and warmups. Our crew gave us our microphones and in ears as we look at the set list. "Five minutes!" Someone shouted and we got ready before heading out. I grabbed the ring and closed my eyes.

When I opened them Ally gripped my wrist and pulled me out. I let go of the ring and walked out hearing the crowd scream made me pull a small smile. We sat down on some stools and Lauren started it off. "Hello all you beautiful Harmonizers. Today, as you know, we'll be singing songs from our Sophomore album 7/27!"

"We'll start off tonight with one of my favorites, Gonna Get Better." Ally said with a small smile.
