April 26, 1998 (Flashback)

THIRD PERSON'S POV

"Sofia meet Mr. Mellet's only son, Troye."

"Troye meet our only daughter Alice Sofia."

Sofia extended her hand for a handshake to the boy infront of her, who she just met and its name is Troye.

But Sofia's face frowned as the boy did not even looked at the hand she offered nor didn't care to give her a hand shake.

"Don't be rude Troye."said a woman in her late 30's which seems to be Troye's mother.

"Jeez fine." Troye abruptly reached for her hand  and they did a handshake.

"Well then Troye, you better behave yourself while we are away. Don't forget your medicines and always drink your milk after breakfast and before you sleep. And don't forget to call us when there's something wrong okay?, sais Troye's mom.

"Be friendly to Sofia, son."

"Jeez, I know, I know. Tss.", said Troye while getting irritated.

"Take good care of your new friend, sweetheart. Yaya Angel, alagaan mo ng mabuti ang mga bata ha. Pakainin mo sa tamang oras at yung vitamins ni Alice huwag mong kalimutan. Tandaan mo yung binilin ko sa iyo kanina ah.", said Sofia's mom.

"Give us a call if may problema yaya."

"Sige po sir Ronald. Aalagaan ko po ng mabuti ang mga bata.", ani yaya Angel.

"O sya sige, mauna na kami."

"Goodbye dad! Bye mom!", Sofia happily bid them goodbye.

"Bye.", tipid na sabi ni Troye.

Both of their parents went to each of their cars and hopped in. The children looked at their parents' cars as it finally moved and made its way to the front gate. Hanggang sa ito'y umalis na at hindi na nila matanaw pa.

Sofia's POV

Umalis na sina mommy at daddy patungong Italy dahil may aasikasuhin sila doon kasama ang kanilang malapit na kaibigan and business partners.

Bigla akong napaluha dahil hindi ko makikita sina mom at dad for 2 months... Ang tagal ng 2 months... Iwan nga lang ako ni mommy sa school, iiyak ako ng iiyak hanggang sa makita ko ulit si mommy na nakabantay sa akin sa labas. I'm a mommy's girl kasi.

"Ang iyakin mo naman. 2 months lang naman sila doon. Tsaka you have me."

Napatigil ako sa kaiiyak at tumingin sa masungit na batang lalaki na nakilala ko palang kanina.

You have me daw?

Eh mukha ngang hindi kami magkakasundo...

Hindi ko siya pinansin at umiyak lang ako ng umiyak.

"Tsk. Can't you just stop from crying?"

"I want my mommy and daddy back!",napasigaw naman ako sa kanya habang umiiyak.

"Crying can't make them come back! You know what? You're too selfish! Can't you understand that they have to go to Italy for an important matter? Crybaby."

Tila nahurt naman ako sa sinabi niya.

I really miss my parents! Ano bang pake niya!

Mommy inaaway naman pala ako ni Troye eh! Bakit niyo po ako pinasama sa kanya? Ang bad boy po niya! (T^T)
