Chapter 5

A few days later...

Rocky POV

I'd told mom and dad about what I found on facebook. They talked with the police, and they still hadn't found anything that could lead to who framed my brother.

We'd asked if we could visit him in jail. They said they'd ask if Riker was allowed. So we had to wait for an answer...

I was becoming obsessed with trying to find evidence to get Riker out of jail. I'd spend hours, looking around our bedroom, trying to find anything to prove him innocent. But I hadn't really found much.

I'd gone on his instagram, and found those same people who bullied him on facebook, bullying Riker on instagram too. They all looked like they could be possible murderers.

But so far, no evidence...

Later...

Riker POV

Jim had had to get me a new change of clothes today after my shower. I wasn't really eating anything, and I needed a size smaller for my jumpsuit.

I was sort of refusing to go down for meals. I'd go down for one maybe once every one or two days. But I pretty much just stayed in my room. I wouldn't go out to get exercise either. I'd only come out to eat or to shower, which Jim still let me do in the single room, away from everyone else.

But I could tell Jim was becoming annoyed with me. He didn't like that I wasn't eating. But too bad. If I didn't want to eat, I wasn't going to.

Jim opened my door, and startled me. He never came in at this time of day.

"Riker, you have a visitor. Do you want to come see them?"

"Yes, please!"

I jumped up, and he locked my hands in front of me. He walked me down a ton of stairs until we came to an area I'd never seen before. We went in a room, which Jim locked behind us. He unlocked my hands, and then led me into a smaller room. And I saw mom and Rocky.

I hugged mom first. And I started crying in her arms. I wanted to go home!

After a few minutes, I went to Rocky. I hugged him super tight, and he did the same.

"Riker."

"What?"

"You're so skinny!"

"I am?"

"Yeah. Are they feeding you?"

"Yeah."

I glanced over at Jim, who was standing in front of the door. He was giving me a look.

"Well... Actually, I haven't really been eating that much," I said, quietly.

"Why not?" Rocky asked.

"I don't know... I just haven't. But it's my decision."

"Ok..."

"When are they going to let me out?" I asked mom.

We all sat down at the table in the middle of the small room, except for Jim, who stood at the door.

"We're working on it, Riker. Rocky's practically obsessed with trying to find out who did it. He went on a bunch of your social media accounts. Why didn't you tell us you were being bullied?"

I felt my cheeks get all hot.

"I don't know..."

"Well we can discuss that after you're out of here. How are things here anyway?"
