"Why don't you ever trip when Jabari cheat on you?"

I inhale deeply, making it seem like I was thinking long and hard for an appropriate answer. I already knew what I was gonna say. I always get this question when people figure I'm with Jabari, who is notorious for being an adulterer.

"Because... he does his dirt and I do mine." I say, giving Alima, whom I just met tonight, a smirk.

"Oooh, so you on your TLC tip. Cuz you creep."

"Yeeeaaah." Me and her chorus, causing us to launch into a fit of giggles.

"But... won't Jabari be mad? He is extra possessive."

I almost questioned how she knew, almost. You have to remember, this is Jabari we're talking about. He done had a piece with damn near everybody and they momma. Probably they grandma. He's scandalous enough for it.

I shrug. "He still with me, ain't he?" Alima laughs, but I could tell it was fake. Guess I can't get close to her like I wanted to.

"Yeah? How long have you two been together?"

"Three years."

"And he hasn't found out yet?"

"Well, he has his suspicions, but you know." I shrug again, seeming nonchalant. I wish things were back to the way they were when we first got together and when he wasn't in 'the business', when he'd yell at me just for talking to another dude. Now he don't even check for me. "When you're busy with 'work' and other hoes, you don't pay too much attention to who's eating your wifey out."

Alima laughs, but I didn't. How could I when just saying that kinda hurts. I love Jabari and I always will, that's why I'm still with him. That's why I never let these dudes fuck. Every part of me belongs to him, so what type of bitch would I be allowing another man into his space? All these other niggas do is eat me out and grope me. No penetration whatsoever.

"You are so wild, girl." Alima says, making me smile a bit. Me and her may have clicked, but Jabari probably had her feeling some sort of way. She'd probably go back and tell Bari about this whole conversation. It didn't matter tho. Bari wasn't gonna leave me, so I have nothing to worry about.

Maybe finding about my own infidelity would making him change his ways. But... knowing him, it'd probably wouldn't.

I let out a sigh. "My problem with that man is he takes me to places like this then disappears."

"H-he's here?" Alima asks and I simply nod. "Oh."

She feels some type of way. I knew it.

"Yeah, I guess he has some niggas to do business with, but I don't know what taking me is going to prove. That I'm his girl? He sure doesn't act like I am, considering all the girls who have had him in between their legs." I huff, crossing my arms.

"You done talking shit, Iris?"

"No." I say, putting my nose up into the air. "You done entertaining other girls, Jabari?"

Alima turns around to look at him, but I don't. I've had enough of him for a night despite barely seeing him.

"I told you not to worry about them other girls and that bullshit they be saying bout me."

"Oh, I don't worry about them chicken headed hoes. I'm worried about yo ass catching an STD from one of them dirty bitches." I say, turning around and looking into his eyes.

Jabari sucks his teeth, making me smirk. I won this battle. "Shut up Iris and let's go. I'm done here."

"And what if I wasn't? I was having a lot of fun talking to my new friend." I say, looking at Alima.

Jabari looks at her also, finally acknowledging her. "She old news Iris."

And that sentence was code for: 'I already hit those, so she only being cool to get a second round of dick.' I let out a sigh, grabbing my clutch and getting up. I knew that shit.

"I swear to God, I hate you Jabari." I say, not even saying anything to Alima, who must've been so confused right now. But what was the point of dealing with a girl who's scheming on me? Again? I'm tired of girls only being close to me in order to get a taste of Jabari's dick. Like, you don't have to do that, he'll give it to you for free. Don't drag me into it.

Stupid Jabari. He's the reason why I couldn't ever have real friends. And in order to get back at him for fucking Alima, I'm gonna find a cute ass dark skin with nice teeth and a juicy ass lips.
