Chapter 2 - New Powers

Adrien P.O.V

"Turn off the alarm, babe." I groaned. 'Mhm' she said and hit the alarm with her nimble fingers.

I pulled her back against my stomach. "Adrien, no, we don't have time. Alya and Nino will be here in 45 minutes so we can go to the movies." She said groggily.

I nuzzled my nose into the the crook of her neck. "Sure we do." I said.

"You're really cute, you know that right?" She said and turned around to face me. She smiled. We were nose to nose as I gazed into her Blue bell eyes.

She leaned in and kissed me. She pulled away after a second. "I guess we have time." She said with a quirky grin.

"What do you want for breakfast?" Mari asked. "Ummm, what ever you want is fine." I responded and stepped out of the shower.

I blow dried my hair and wrapped a towel around my waist. I could smell bacon from the kitchen.

I walked out of the bedroom and into the kitchen. "Adrien, put some clothes on." Mari said with a giggle. "You're one to talk, all you're wearing is my button up shirt and under wear." I responded.

"Crap. What time is it?" She asked. I looked at the big clock on the wall. "Exactly 11 am, why?" I asked.

"Because Alya is always on time." She said. Right on que, there was a knock at the door.

"Come in!" I yelled, not wanting to walk all of the way to the door and back. They opened the door and bolted into the kitchen.

"Woah, are we early?" Nino asked sarcastically. "No . . . Why?" Mari asked, confused. "Well, Adrien only has a towel on, and you look like you were busy earlier." Alya said to Marinette.

"Adrien, I told you to put on your clothes." Mari said annoyed. "Fine, But I need my shirt back," I laughed. She hit me with the spatula on the back.

"Owch, princess." I said with a smirk and walked into the room. She rolled her eyes and dished out breakfast.

I walked out of the bedroom and hugged mari from behind. She screamed and sqeezed tge glass in her hand.

It shattered instantly. Glass coated her hand. "Oh my god, are you okay?" I asked, concerned. Blood was running out of her hand and onto the floor.

"How do you break a glass in your hand? Alya asked Mari. "Well, when you're a super hero that protects paris, you tend to have a bit of strength." Marinette responded with a giggle.

"Do you want me to take them out?" I offered. She shook her head. "Why would you do that?" She asked. I looked at her confused, like seriously confused.

"Because. Because you have glass, all over your hand." I said in some sort of shock.

"Just give me a bowl." She said. Alya grabbed one and handed it to Mari. She put her hand over the bowl.

All of the glass flooded out of her hand and into the bowl. The wounds instantly healed, like nothing had happened.

"How, how did you do that?" I asked. I was speechless. I didn't know if it was real or not.

"I don't know, I can just kind of reject it from my body. It heals rather quickly, sometimes it takes a few hours." She replyed like it was nothing.

I looked at Alya and Nino, they were just as freaked out as I was. "Why do you guys look like that?" She asked. "You. You just. That." I stuttered. I didn't know what to say.

"When did you uh, learn how to. How to do that?" Nino asked, barely able to speak.

"I don't know, like 4 or 5 months ago, why?" She asked. "You guys are freaking me out." She said scared.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked in a low voice. She shrugged. "I assumed you knew. I assumed all of you knew." She answered.

"How would we know?!" Alya asked loudly. "I was thrown through a brick wall a couple of weeks ago, and had no injuries. I assumed you knew." She blurted out.

"That. Is the coolest. Thing. I have ever seen. In my entire life." Nino said. His confusion instantly turned into amazement.

Nino grabbed a fork and jammed it through her other hand. "Oww, Nino! What the heck!" She telled and ripped the fork out of her pale hand.

"I wanted to see if it would heal?" He defensively said. "Yes it heals, but it still hurts when a fork is driven through your bone!" Mari whisper yelled, annoyed.

"What about super healing do you nt understand, you super dork?" Alya said and hit Nino playfully upside the head.

"Are you guys okay, or do we need a run through?" She asked. "I'm good." I said. "So are we." Alya said.

"Then let's go to the movies." She said with a giggle.

"What are we seeing?" I asked and walked towards the front door. "Nino wants to see dead pool again." Alya chuckled.

"What are you? Ryan Reynolds biggest fan girl?" I daid and started laughing. Mari laughed. "Well Marinette is Grant Gustins biggest fan girl!" Nino back fired.

"Who is Grant Gustin?" Alya asked. "The Flash." We all said in unison, some of us flirtier than others. She laughed.

We got to the movie theater, and I got the tickets.

We sat down in the 2nd to last row, near the center. Mari sat next to me, well layed down I guess. She had her head in my lap as usual.

Alya had her head on Ninos shoulder and his head on hers. It was cute.

The movie started, I hadn't seen it yet, but Nino obviously has because he reciting evey word of the movie.

I gave Mari 20 minutes before she fell asleep. We have been dating for 6 years, and she hasn't stayed awake through a movie at the theater once.

I looked down, she was still awake surprisingly. I looked at the screen, he was cutting his hand off, and it sounded disgusting.

Called it, Mari was asleep. She looked peaceful and, not gonna lie, really freaking adorable.

The lights turned on. Alya and Nino stood up and stretched. "I really thought she would last." Alya said, kind of seriously.

"Did you really?" I asked with a laugh. "No of course not, its Marinette." She chuckled. "Wake her up we need to go, I have other plans for us." Alya said menisingly.

I went to shake her awake. "No wait don't!" Nino said as everyone left the theater. "I have an idea." He said.

He pulled an air horn out of his bag. "Nino, this isn't smart, remember what happened this morning? Please don't do this," I said trying to convince him out of it.

"Too late!" He yelled. He put it next to her ear and pulled tge trigger. A loud noise filled the theater.
