Chapter 6 - Flash Back

3rd person P.O.V

Marinette waited for Nino and Alya to get comfortable. "Okay, so it started about 7 years ago, as you know, when we first got our miraculous'." Adrien stated and grabbed Mari's hand.

"Wait, wait, wait!" Adrien said and waved his arms around like an idiot. Everyone looked at him. "Long version or short version?" He asked. "I want to hear everything!" Alya screamed.

Mari was nervous, a lot of things happened that really messed her up.

She swallowed nervously. "We had made a pact that we wouldn't give up our identities for each others sakes." Marinette said.

"I resented that agreement." Adrien said with a disgusted expression. "As much as I wanted to know, I respected her wishes."

Alya awed and oohed.

"Nothing really happened until about 3 years later." Mari said.

Flash back

Marinette P.O.V

"Pound it!" Me and Chat noir said in unison as we bumped fists. I turned to leave when Chat grabbed my wrist. "When will you tell me?" He asked.

"I can't tell you my identity, chat." I sighed. She wanted to, but there were to many risks.

I jumped from roof to roof until I reached the balcony of my house. I climbed through my window, so I wasn't to wake my parent. I detransformed and plopped down onto my bed.

My small kwami ate one of the cookies that was on my night stand. She was so cute.

"So why won't you tell him?" Tiki asked. I loooked at her confused. "Why won't you tell chat noir who you are?"

"Because he just wants this strong, independent super hero. He would hate me and hate lady bug if he found out that I'm just shy and clumsy Marinette." I confessed.

"He would never hate you though! He would love you the same or even more! Why do you tell yourself these things if they aren't true?" Tiki asked.

I could tell she was frusterated. "I'm sorry Tiki, I just don't want to mess things up." I sighed.

"Marinette wake up!" Tiki yelled in my ear. I shot up from my sleep and looked at the alarm clock. "8:00!" I yelled. I was, as usual, late. School started 30 minutes ago.

I quickly got dressed, did my hair and put a small amount of make up on. I raced down stairs when Tiki stopped me.

"I set your clock an hour early, it's actually 7:05, you're early." She confessed. I sighed, annoyed.

I walked out of the front door of the backery and down the side walk. I could hear the small being in my purse nibbling in cookies, and that only made me laugh.

I got to the school and walked in through the front. Not even Alya was here yet. I sat on the bench in the foyer.

I pulled out my sketch book and started drawing. I drew the foyer's scenery and Chat Noir and Lady bug inspired fashion. To make Alya happy, I designed some Lady Wifi outfits for her.

Time seemed to fly by. Before I knew it, it was already 7:50. Alya calmly walked through the doors. On one side of her was Nino and on the other was Adrien.

I had always had a crush on Adrien, but I don't think he even acknowledged my existence. I don't think he knew who I was.

Why would he? I'm just this shy, useless girl, who can't do anything right. I was snapped out of my thoughts by Alya waving her hand in my face.
