Chapter 14 - Hooray. A Ball.

Marinette P.O.V

I opened my eyes. I was still on the couch, only now it was dark out side. I buried my face into person I was laying with.

I looked up and saw . . . Wait? Nino! I quietly yelled and fell to the floor. There was a loud thud. Adrien ran out of the kitchen.

"What happened? What was that sound?" He asked panicked. "I woke up with NINO!" I said and rubbed the back of my head. "Why were you laying her?" He asked and hit Nino upside the head.

"I honestly have no idea. One moment I was watching dead pool, the next, I hear a thud and then this small human was on the floor." Nino explained.

"Hey! I'm not that small!" I defended. "You're like 5'2"." Nino said and crossed his arms. I rolled my eyes. "What are you, 5, maybe 6 inches taller than me?" I asked with an eye brow raised.

"Yah, and I'm like 6 or 7 inches taller than you." Adrien said and rustled his hair. He groaned and pouted like a 2 year old. Sudden realization hit him. "Wait!? How tall are you!?" Nino demanded to know.

"I don't know? Will you accept 'really freaking tall' as an answer?" He shrugged. Nino groaned and went into the bedroom.

He walked out with a tape measure. "Wjy is he so immature and stupid?" I asked a groggy Alya. "Will you take 'because he's Nino' as an answer?" She asked sarcastically.

I laughed. "How can you be that tall!?" Nino yelled from the hallway. They walked out, Adrien looking smug and Nino looking outraged.

I helped Alya to her feet and we entered the kitchen. "How tall are you, Nino?" Alya asked. He face heated up with embarrassment. "5 foot 8 inches." He responded and hung his head.

"And how tall is Adrien?" She asked. "6 foot 3 inches." Adrien laughed. I started laughing at Ninos petty jealousy.

I looked at the clock. "We have to go! The party starts in 5 minutes!" I said. "Wait!" Alya said. We paused and looked at her. "I want to summon them."

That's a weird request. I don't know what's so special about it. "Go ahead." I said and waved her on. She jumped up and down with excitement. "TIKI! PLAGG!" She yelled.

They raced out of the bedroom. "Why is that so exciting?" Adrien asked. "I just think it's . . . MIRACULOUS." She said. Her eyes sparkled.

Adrien started laughing really hard and fell on the floor. Nino was giggling behind his hand. I rolled my eyes with a blank expression.

"Spots on." I said annoyed. I knew it was only a matter of time before he would finaly get to her.
