Testing And Going Home!

Katy's POV:
I woke up with light shining in my face. I blink a couple of times and relaize it's the sun coming through the curtains. I look to my left and see my mom. Her head is laying on my bed and her arms tucked under as a pillow. She is sleeping her breathing slow and steady. I shake her "mom hey can you wake up and close the curtains please it's too bright?" Her head pops up and smiles "yea honey sure thing." She gets up and goes over the window closes the curtains. She thrns around comes over to my bed with a smile and asks "did you sleep well sweetheart?" I nod my head yes. The door opens and the two guys from yesterday, the doctor, and my sister come in. They all smile at me and I give a smile back. "Hello Katy how are you? Do you remeber anything?" "I'm good, no I don't remember anything. Am I suppose to?" "Um no. Can I ask you some questions?" "Yea go ahead." He sits down in a chair and puts on his glasses.
Doctor: "Does your mother carry any kind of genetic disaese?"
Katy: "Not that I know of."
Doctor: " what about your dad?"
Katy: "I never met my father."
Katy's dad eyes water and tears stream down his face. Katy looks over at him "are you okay." He shakes his head yes and says "excuse me but I can't be here for this." Katy turns ber attention back to the doctor.
Doctor: " do you have a strong connection with your sister?"
Katy: "I have a good relationship with my sister every sibling fights."
Doctor: "What about your brother?"
Katy: "I don't have a brother."
The doctor looks back up closes his book "that's it were done. Katy in 10 minutes we are goimg to do a MRI scan okay." "Yea okay thats fine." He leaves the room and the older man comes back. I look to my mom "mom is this guy your new boyfriend and is that his kid?" "Something like that sweety." I look over to him and bring out my hand "hi it's nice to meet you i'm Katy you seem like a nice guy." He took my hand and smiled "it's nice to meet you too katy." He kind of chokes up on the end. "I've heard so much about you i'm Kevin and this is my son Kyle."
Dad's POV:
When she said she never met her father I couldn't take it anymore. I had to leave the room. In the hallway I calmed my breathing and dried up my tears. When i walk back in the doctor is comimg out. When i'm in the room Katy asks her mom if i'm a new boyfriend and if Kyle is my son. We kind of just go with that. When Katy introduces her self I just think that my daughter doesn't know who I am, but she still is kind. I introduce myself as Kevin and her brother as Kyle. Then the doctor comes back in and Katy is going to take some more tests.
Katy's POV:
The doctor comes back ino the room and i am going to do the MRI. We get to a big white room and there is this big machine. The doctor tells me to lay on the white tray on the machine. I lay down and he explains to me that i bave to be completely an utterly still. Time goes by in the machine makes a clanking kind of noise. We are finally done when the doctor tells me he got the results. I get up and we head back to my room. I get back into bed and Kyle goes and gets me food. The doctor, my mother, and ber boyfriend are out side the door talking and my sister is in the room with me. She comes over to my bed and lays down with me. "What's wrong with you Katy?" "I don't know Karen." "Are you going to get better?" "Hopefully sugar hopefuuly." "Can you sing me a lullaby Katy?" I smile down at her and nod yes.

"Hush, little baby, don't say a word,
Sissy's gonna buy you a mockingbird.

And if that mockingbird don't sing,

And if that diamond ring turns brass,

At the end of the song she is fast asleep and Kyle comes back with my food.
Mom's POV:
My husband and I are right now outside of our daughters hospital room.
Doctor: "In her results it shows that a part in her lobe was damaged in the bus accident. And that's why she has amnesia. The people she is closes to are the ones she doesn't remember."
Dad: "So the only reason she doesn't remember me and Kyle because she is closes to us?"
Doctor: "Yes that is correct."
Mom: "Will she remember?"
Doctor: "Oh yes, yes she will it's just going to take awhile her brain needs to heal. I wouldn't let her go back to school until she gets her memory back and her brain is all healed."
Mom & Dad: "Thank you doctor."
Kevin and I walk back into the room and we see Kyle sleepimg with his head laying on his arms on the bed. Karen in the the bed with Katy snuggling and Katy fast asleep.
Time Skip
It's friday and Katy can come back home. We are checking her out right now. She gets into the car and we go to the house once we get inside she just looks around like a lost puppy. I show her to her room and Kyle grabs the phone and orders pizza for us all. The pizza comes and there are three he takes one upstairs into Katy's room and stays in there.
Katy's POV:
I'm sittimg in my room and look around i take a 20 minute shower and put on some comfy close i found on my bed. My door opens and Kyle walks in with a pizza and i'm so glad i'm starving. He opens it and on the pizza is pepperoni and mushrooms my favorite. ( Don't judge it's my favorite also) He sits down and i look over at him grab a slice of pizza " you want to watch a movie with me?" He smiles at me "sure why not which movie?" I put a finfer to my bottom lip and concentrate on which movie we should watch I got it "Friday the 13th." "Okay I'll put it on." He puts the movie in the DVD player and push play. He sits back on the bed and we eat pizza. " Sis you want the last slice?" I look at him confused "did you just call me sis?" It seems he relaized his mistake and then he turns red. Kyle soon then freaks out.
