When You Least Expect It

In A Coma!

At the accident ( the bus drivers POV): The mechanics finally arrived and they are getting set up to get Katy out of the bus. They just hope she is still alive. A car comes up to the accident. Two adults and two children get out I assume their her family. " Are you Katy Smith's parents?" I ask when they walk over to me. The older woman shook her head. Her eyes are all puffy you can tell she's been crying. But I don't blame her, her daughter got into an accident. " Yes we are sorry my wife is just trying to take all this in." Says the older man. " That's ok this is very hard to take in." I say to them. As I look at the other kids and the elder man I can they all been crying and I feel really bad for them. The accident was part of my fault. " Well they are trying to get Katy out of the bus right now." I tell them so they know what's going on. The father gave a confused look. " Trying what do you mean trying?" I look at all of them and now they all look worried. " Well Mr. Smith it seems that Katy got stuck in the bus. So they called the mechanics to get her out. Which they are doing so right now." Their worried expressions become a little less worried. Then we hear something that sounds like smashing and crunching. We look into the direction we hear it. The mechanics are opening the side of the bus so they can get into the bus easier. Once it's open they go to where Katy is and get equipment to get her out. About 20 minutes later she is out and they are seeing if she is alive. " She alive!" Yells the doctor they get her on a stretcher and get her to the hospital. Once they're at the hospital they rush her to ER. She looks really beat up.
Doctors POV:
A girl gets brought in on a stretcher. And she has been in a car accident. She is really beat up so I take her to the nearest surgery room. About 1 1/2 later I come out to see a little group of people. I walk up to them " are you Katy's family." " Yes!" They say in unison. " Well Katy is beat up pretty bad she has 3 broken ribs, 2 fractured, 1 broken leg, 1 broken arm, 1 arm fractured, her whole left hand is broken, she hit her head pretty hard, she has bruises and cuts all over, I took out long pieces of glass out of her, and she is in a coma and we don't know when she will wake up. I'm so sorry but all we can do is wait know." The father shakes his head and the mother had to sit down. I can see that their trying to take this in and try to be strong and hold back the tears. I feel so bad that there isn't anything else I can do to help. Know it's up to her to decide if she comes out of that coma or not.
