"Okay what Is it" I said

"Well before Lucas was born I got pregnant and Jeremiah was 2 at the time when the baby was born and we named her Laura" my mom said

"What happened to her how come we never grew up with her" I asked

"When I had Lucas she was already 2 and when Lucas turned 3 she was already 6 and and Rebecca you were 2 years old but when I was pregnant with you Rebecca I got really sick and so did you they told me you were probably not going to survive but you did and we where happy about that because all you kids are amazing but I was young I was only 25 when I was having you so grandma Lethi took her and was raising her and we would go visit Laura a lot without you guys and Jeremiah like a few days ago asked me what happened to her because he remembers her but we never ever talked about her so we were shocked and he told him"

"Is that why we never went to Grandma Lethi's house" my brother asked

"Yeah that's why" my dad said

"When do we get to meet Laura" I asked

"Well you get to meet her today at dinner" my mom said smiling

"Oh okay" I said and Lucas nodded

"So do you guys have any questions" my dad said

"No I don't" Lucas said

"No I don't" I said

"Okay we love you both" mom said and her and my dad got up and left the room

"Hey Becca are you okay with all of this" Lucas said looking at me

"yeah I have to be I mean she's our sister but I'm just scared" I said

"Why are you scared" he said

"Because what if you and Jeremiah like her better then me and what if mom and dad love her more then me now that she is in our lives too"

"Hey you will always be my little sister I will always have this special connection with you and besides we grew up together and I didn't grow up with her and mom and dad will never love her more then you we are loved equally and they are so proud of you Becca" Lucas said

"Yeah maybe we will all get close" I said

"Yeah maybe and hey I'm going to go unpack and see what Tayla is doing" Lucas said and i nodded and he got up and left

Maybe she isn't as bad as I think maybe I will be close to he I don't know. It's just why would they tell us now. I just don't get.

"Hey Becca" Jacob said getting me clicked away from my thoughts

"Hey" I said smiling

"Your brother told Me" he said

"Oh about Laura" I said

"Yeah" he said

"Yup I guess I have a sister" I said

"Oh your brother said to get ready for dinner and yup you do" Jacob said

"Okay" I said and went to get ready
