"B" Tayla said walking into my room
"Yeah" I said sitting on the bed
"It feels weird without J being here" she said sitting next to me
"Yeah I know" I said
"B I was thinking about how different we all are now then when we were in high school" Tayla said
"Yeah, J is pregnant, me and Jacob are complicated, You and Lucas are still together, my older brother is married, Jacob is having a baby with someone I hate, Jacob asked me to raise the baby with him, am I missing anymore?" I said
"Yes you forgot one thing" she said
"J leaving" I said
"Yeah" Tayla said
"What if that is the end of our friendship, with her leaving" i said
"No I don't think so" tayla said
"T do you wish you could go back to high school and start over?" I asked
"To be honest B, I wouldn't" she said
"I would" I said
"How come?" Tayla said
"To change the way things went" I said
"Oh I get you" she said
"Yeah"
"Where's Jacob?" I asked
"They are all on the beach" Tayla said
"Oh okay" I said
"Why what's happened" tayla said
"Have you ever heard the saying if you love someone set them free if they come back they are yours if not then it wasn't meant to be" I said
"Yeah of course I have" she said
"I have to let Jacob go, I can't hold him back and have him move to Canada with us" I said
"I thought his school has a transfer school over there" Tayla said
"He does but his dream was to go to the one in New York" I said
"Oh" she said
"I don't want to be the one to take him away from that" I said
"B but it's his choice" Tayla said
"I know but I have to let him know that it's okay to stay back I will help him raise the baby after he's done with schooling" I said
"Okay if that what you think" Tayla said
