Chapter 2 - Lullaby

Scarlett's POV
"World off, music on." I said as I put my earphones on and plug it on my phone. I started to pick my favorite song called lullaby by Lateeya. I don't know why I'm so inlove with this song.

"Missing your face and your touch, missing your kiss and your love. Missing them little bit piece of you, baby would meet me halfway cause I'm down for you.~"

I sing along as the music plays. "Hm.. I should try to cover this song. Its summer anyway I got nothing to do." I said as i grab my ukelele. I opened my phone and goes to youtube and search for the chords. I don't usually do covers and stuff, I just sing along to the song.

"Cause when I'm staring at the stars, looking at the moon, wishing that I could be there with you. Its ok, and its alright, baby listen to this lullaby.
Goodnight, sleep tight."

I paused the song for a while and play the video of the chords for lullaby. "Ok... So I put this here.." I said as I put my fingers to the chords that are given. I strum down and it sounds good. Gonna do a cover on this.

15 minutes later..

And im done learning the chords. Now imma try to cover the song. I opened my phone and put it on a video. I put it in front of me and its too dark. I tried to move it somewhere else but still dark. I turned around and realized that the curtains are closed. "You're such an idiot, aren't ya Scarlett?" I said to myself. Yup I know I'm an idiot ok? I opened the curtains and goes back to my bed. "Finally! Some lights to see me!" I said then smiles like an idiot. I moved my phone up so they all can see my mouth only and the guitar. I don't wanna show my face. Im wearing a white shirt with a print that says "#YOLO" on it. Before i start to sing, i tied my long black hair into a ponytail and i felt something on my braces. Oh wait, its only the wires. I clicked the red dot and started to record.

"Missing your face and your touch, missing your kiss and your love. Missing them little bit piece of you, baby would you meet m halfway cause I'm down fote.

"Oooh, the many things that I would do, just to feel you hold you. Man, its so hard not to have you here~."

Successfully hit the little high note.

"You're probably sitting, like me. Missing you baby, ooooh weeee, promise to listen before you sleep."

And now we are at the chorus.

There's a little rap here and i think i dont know this.

"Yeah, we could sit on the phone, bust to all nighter till the early morning. Its still not the same when your far away."

Well, that was an unexpected. Never knew i know them.

"Hearing your voice, I got no choice, its the only way for me to feel closer. guess till then, just listen~"

I clicked stop on my phone and saved it. Phew, that ended well. I like it.

New hobby acquired: cover up some songs when you're bored.
